Episode 01.01 – Pilot
Aired: 08.29.05

Michael Scofield, a structural engineer, attempts to rob a bank in order to get incarcerated at Fox River State Penitentiary. Lincoln Burrows, Michael’s brother, is accused of murdering the Vice President’s brother and is in jail, scheduled to be executed. At Fox River, Michael approaches a number of inmates, all of whom play an important role in his plan to free his brother from the inside. Agents Kellerman and Hale are determined to make sure the execution goes through as planned. Lincoln’s son LJ gets into trouble.

Episode 01.02 - Allen
Aired: 08.29.05

Michael seeks help of his fellow prison inhabitants to execute his escape plans. Michael has problems retrieving a screw from the bleachers. Veronica receives a security tape that shows Lincoln shooting Terrence Steadman.

Episode 01.03 - Cell Test
Aired: 09.05.05

Michael reveals his escape plan to Sucre, Sucre wants to be no part of it, and requests a cell transfer. Michael gets a new cellmate named Haywire. Michael gets Abruzzi on his side and proves Sucre’s trustworthiness, but then loses a valuable piece of his plan.

Episode 01.04 – Cute Poison

Veronica uncovers new information regarding Lincoln’s case and decides she wants to work on the case full-time. When no one wants to help her on the case, Nick Savrinn (an attorney) offers to help and the pair visits Lincoln. Michael gets more of the tools and people he needs, but someone very high up has taken notice and started wondering what he’s up to.

Kellerman and Hale blackmail Warden Pope. Michael learns that he might get out earlier than anticipated. Veronica becomes unsure of her allies.

Episode 01.06 – Riots, Drills and the Devil (part 1)
Aired: 09.26.05

Michael sabotages the air conditioning, setting off a lockdown of the prison. He unintentionally causes a riot that gets Sara into trouble. Meanwhile, an ex-con is blackmailed into seeing to that Lincoln is killed.

Episode 01.07 - Riots, Drills and the Devil (part 2)

While the riot intensifies, Abruzzi and Sucre join forces. Michael saves Dr. Tancredi from the rioting prisoners, but Lincoln and Veronica are in need of their own rescue.

Episode 01.08 – The Old Head

Michael finds out that a storeroom (which is fundamental to his escape plans) has been converted into a break room. Veronica and Nick are being threatened. Nick has a place where they can go which is off the radar of the secret service.

Episode 01.09 – Tweener

Abruzzi gets demoted in the prison hierachy and puts the entire escape plan at risk. Michael finds himself having to protect T-Bag’s new “fish”, Tweener. T-Bag threatens exposing the plan to the guards. The inmates dig themselves into a hole.

Episode 01.10 – Sleight of Hand
Aired: 11.07.05

Abruzzi struggles to get his crew back to PI. He tries to convince Michael to reveal Fibonacci’s whereabouts to Falzone. Kellerman and Hale receive some professional help for their search, as the vice president isn’t satisfied about their progress so far. Steadman’s money trail leads Veronica and Nick to a surprising discovery. Michael hands over an address to Falzone, allowing work to resume on the tunnel.

Episode 01.11 – And Then There Were 7
Aired: 11.14.05

Michael gets a visit from his wife, much to everyone’s surprise. She brings him what appears to be a credit card, but is in fact something entirely different. Michael also learns that his watch has been stolen by a guard, and he must enlist the help of an inmate in order to get it back. Bellick does some research after seeing Michael’s wife, whom he thinks looks oddly familiar. In the woods, Veronica, LJ and Nick are threatened by Quinn.

Episode 01.12 – Odd Man Out
Aired: 11.21.05

When they learn that all the escapees can’t make it over the wall, the group decides to get rid of T-Bag. T-Bag has a plan of his own that doesn’t involve him staying inside but Abruzzi tries undermine his plot. It all goes wrong and he turns to God for help. Sucre gets some good news from Maricruz. Westmoreland wants in after getting bad news from his family, while Quinn learns who his friends really aren’t.

Episode 01.13 – End of the Tunnel
Aired: 11.28.05

Abruzzi is transported to a hospital. With Lincoln’s execution scheduled for the following day, Veronica comes out of hiding to contact him and gains an ally. Kellerman makes the ultimate sacrifice to preserve the conspiracy. Michael looks for a way to get Lincoln out of solitary confinement in time for the escape that evening. The PI crew gets a prolonged stay in the break room they’re renovating as they prepare to attempt their escape.

Episode 01.14 – The Rat
Aired: 03.20.06

Michael and the other prisoners attempt to return to their cells without being detected. At the same time, Veronica and Nick request a judge to postpone Lincoln’s execution. Sara requests her dad, the governor, to review Lincoln’s case. Michael fiddles with the execution chair.

Episode 01.15 – By the Skin and the Teeth
Aired: 03.27.06

As Lincoln is about to be executed, he briefly sees his father in the viewing room. A phone call from judge Kessler delays the execution. After reviewing the newly surfaced evidence, the judge orders the exhumation of Steadman’s body. Michael creates a new break-out plan. This involves going through the prison yard. Unfortunately, an accident puts Michael’s new plan in danger.

Episode 01.16 – Brother’s Keeper
Aired: 04.03.06

Flashbacks shed light on the past actions that led to the incarceration of Lincoln, Sucre, T-Bag and C-Note. We learn how the ingenious break-out plan was created. Sara recalls how she ended up in Fox River State Penitentiary.

Episode 01.17 – J-Cat
Aired: 04.10.06

Lincoln is worried about Michael’s sanity. Michael has trouble remembering some parts of the prison schematics. Sucre has to conceal the hole in the guard’s break room. Warden Pope transfers Michael to solitary after he declines his request.

Episode 01.18 – Bluff
Aired: 04.17.06

In an effort to recreate the missing piece of the tattoo, Michael gets transferred to the psych ward, seeking the help of Haywire. T-Bag and C-Note have to join forces.

Lincoln learns the identity of his kidnapper and another inmate learns of the escape.

Westmoreland wants Michael to speed up the planned escape, and gets Bellick one step closer to unraveling it.
Michael has to decide whether to involve Sara in the breakout plan.
Tweener’s devotion is put to a test.
Veronica finds out that her ally unexpectedly has a connection to an inmate serving time at Fox River.

Everyone attempts to make their escapes across the high wire.
Poor Westmoreland gets left behind.
Veronica and Nick realize they may be in over their heads.

As the escape is in progress, Pope and Bellick begin a search to detain the escapees.
Michael and the gang attempt to reach the aircraft as the police follow them.
Veronica discovers a major piece of evidence that could prove Lincoln’s innocence.
The Vice President is worried about losing her authority.
