Nick Santora Dishes on Prison Break Season 5

December 27, 2008 by Nikki Katz

Nick Santora says that the Prison Break writers will stick around for as long as they are asked to continue writing … no word yet on if there will be a Season 5 though!

We will continue to make PB for as long as the network asks us to,” Nick writes on PBreakFans. “But if we are not asked back for a 5th season or a 6th or whatever, that would be the end of the road. But we, as writer/producers, don’t worry about that stuff - we make as good a show as we can and see what happens. The network has been great to us and they are our partners in the show - we will work hard for them and give them a show we hope they are proud of and see what happens. That’s the way it is on every show. You put it on the air and hope for the best.

HBO Luxury Lounge In Honor Of The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards - Day 2

Nick Santora chatted again on PBreakFans about Kellerman. He keeps dancing around the issue. I’m not sure what that means yet!

Nick said that his, “acting skills (and those of the other writers) make it clear that we should stick to the keyboard punching. a lot of people have asked about kellerman - all I can say is “I can’t say anything.” I did explain once before that contractually these things are difficult. That’s all I can say, however.

Nick Santora recently wrote on PBreakFans that he sometimes hangs out with the cast and crew of Prison Break.

Most fun we ever had is when we all went to Vegas together. I can’t tell you exactly what went on there … you know, what happens in Vegas …. But, truth is, we laugh and have fun every day while working very hard.

I want to hang out with the cast and crew of Prison Break too!!!

Nick Santora ‘Prison Break One of the Best Experiences of My Live’

September 18, 2008 by Nikki Katz

Nick Santora tells fans on PBreakFans that the most rewarding part of his day is going to work and doing something he loves!

Nick also says that his success is due to the hard work of parents. “The most rewarding part of my day is going to work doing something I love and knowing that all of the hard work my parents put in to raise me and give me an education so I could have opportunities they only dreamed of did not go to waste.

Because of his parents, Nick says that he has the opportunity to live out his life long dream. “I get to go to work and be happy every day because I work with such great people that are not only my colleagues but have become my friends. I appreciate this fact every day.

With the falling ratings, Nick says that they will continue to make Prison Break for as long as possible. When the show eventually gets cancelled, Nick says he will “look at Prison Break as one of the best experiences of my life, as a learning experience, as a growing experience and as a true blessing.

Nick Santora Won’t Confirm Kellerman’s Death

September 12, 2008 by Nikki Katz

Over at PBreakFans, Nick Santora is refusing to comment on Kellerman’s death, even going so far to say that he could lose his job if he confirms or denies that event. I found that very interesting!! Give us K-Girls some hope!

Nick was asked about bringing Paul Adelstein back for a quick cameo and Nick says, “that’s not how it works. it’s not up to paul adelstein … he is under contract to a show, they own his services. as for confirming his death, i cannot confirm or deny that. sorry but i am not allowed to do that, could cost me my job.

Nick Santora Answers Questions

September 5, 2008 by Nikki Katz

Nick Santora answered some questions from a German Prison Break fan site on PBreakFans

Are You Disappointed in the Season Premiere Ratings?
Nick: You always want more people to watch your show, but it was the Labor Day holiday and millions of Americans were still traveling back to their homes when the show was on. Also, the Republican Convention was on and that drew a huge audience. Television viewing was low across the board that night, but we were still the number 1 show of the night.

Why is There no Intro to Season 4?
Nick: There is an intro - it just wasn’t used on premiere night.

How much Time to Write an Episode?
Nick: It depends - it usually takes a couple of weeks to come up with the outline and a couple of days to write it … writing the script is always easier than figuring out the outline (we call it “breaking the story”).

Nick Santora ‘Yeah … They Boinked’

September 5, 2008 by Nikki Katz

Episode 4.01 & 4.02
Aired: September 1, 2008
Nick Santora Clarifications

Over at PBreakFans Nick Santora has answered a couple questions regarding the Season 4 Premiere of Prison Break. One question was what happened prior to us seeing Michael and Sara in bed together. His response? “Yeah … they boinked.” Hmmmm. I’m just wondering why Michael didn’t notice her scars then!

As for the night of the premiere, Nick says that “We all got together last night as a team to watch the premiere, which was fun.” I wonder who all was there!

Nick also wrote a post prior to the show airing, saying that he hopes the fans enjoy the show. “I hope everyone enjoys the eps tonight — Olmstead wrote the first one and Zack wrote the second one … they are both great writers so you should be in for a treat. There is a lot to wrap up from the end of last season (remember, because of the strike we have to wrap up NINE episodes of stuff in the first couple of acts of the first episode tonight … not an easy task) and a lot to get started for this new season - it was a challenge, but one we embraced and had fun with. All the best, and thank you for the continued support of Prison Break.

Prison Break Season 5?

July 18, 2008 by Nikki Katz

Nick Santora hints that the writers would stay around as long as the network asks, even though everyone says that Prison Break Season 4 will be the last.

We will continue to make PB for as long as the network asks us to,” Nick writes on PBreakFans. “But if we are not asked back for a 5th season or a 6th or whatever, that would be the end of the road. But we, as writer/producers, don’t worry about that stuff — we make as good a show as we can and see what happens. The network has been great to us and they are our partners in the show — we will work hard for them and give them a show we hope they are proud of and see what happens. That’s the way it is on every show. You put it on the air and hope for the best.

The Longshots comes out in theaters on August 22nd and is a heartwarming family film and Punisher comes out Dec. 5th and is a shoot ‘em up vengeance-fest … both films are a lot of fun. Please go online and check out the trailers. Best, Nick.”
