Paul Scheuring to Direct ‘The Experiment’
June 19, 2009 by Nikki Katz
Paul Scheuring is reportedly working on a new project with some big name cast members!!
Scheuring is set to direct The Experiment, from his own screenplay adaptation of the 2001 German film “Das Experiment,” which centers on a group of ordinary men recruited to take part in a psychological research study.
The mean are divided up into two groups (guards and prisoners) and put into prison. They are then studied how they react to their assigned roles, and to positions of power and control. Of course experiment goes sour as the guards go drunk with power, and develop authoritarian tendencies, going to great lengths to hide their abusive actions from the researchers in order to keep their power trip going. The prisoners also band together in order to resist, and results in quite a bit of action.
Adrien Brody will play the leader of the rebellious prisoners while Forest Whitaker has been cast as one of the abusive and corrupted guards. Cam Gigandet and Elijah Wood have also signed onto the script.

Prison Break Season 4 Extras - Fade Out: The Final Episode
June 5, 2009 by Nikki Katz
It’s another extra from the Prison Break Season 4 DVD! This one is Fade Out: The Final Episode.
The actors and producers discuss closing out the series and having advance notice that Season 4 would be the last.
Matt Olmstead says, “This is a real wrap up for Prison Break. One that we knew at the beginning of the season. Every scene and every episode have been in service of the big wrap up.”
Robert Knepper felt that Season 4 had so many twists and turns, and ultimately was more exhausting! Wentworth Miller thought it was great how they went back to the previous seasons to tie up some loose ends as well.

Matt Olmstead Chats Prison Break Series Finale
April 14, 2009 by Nikki Katz
I sat in on a conference call with Matt Olmstead, executive producer with Prison Break, today! Here’s some of what he had to say (more to come later).
I was able to ask Matt two questions:
What happened to LJ!
Actually, it’s funny you should ask. There weren’t any regrets, but oddly enough the only actor we couldn’t get was Marshall. We wanted to bring him back for a couple of episodes, but it was later in the season and there was kind of a schedule conflict and we couldn’t get him. His character is addressed going forward.
In terms of the show his charactered lived on, but we weren’t able to get him in terms of showing him where he is now, kind of deal. He’s been a really important part of the show, and a good guy about it. Because, his character is kind of ping-ponged back and forth in terms of a couple episodes here, a couple episodes there - but unfortunately we couldn’t get our schedules to coincide.
Would you like to work with some of the Prison Break cast again in any new projects?
Yeah, very much so. Having been on a couple shows now, you can really appreciate there’s a special quality in someone who has a couple different things going for them - talent and professionalism.
Having worked with people like Bill Fichtner, Robert Knepper - it’s been a real joy and I think the same holds true for them. I think that their experience has been good on the show as well.
Matt also answered covered other topics from the press, including:
What Would You Ask Matt Olmstead?
April 10, 2009 by Nikki Katz
Hey everyone! I get the chance to be on a conference call with Matt Olmstead on Tuesday (and a bunch of other press so I may only get to ask one or two questions!) What are the burning questions you want to know? I’ll try to ask something from the comments below!

Paul Scheuring won’t be hurting for work after Prison Break ends!!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scheuring is creating the pilot for the drama “Masterwork” - described as “a race against time to recover the world’s most sought-after artifacts.”
The show is being compared to “National Treasure” and “The Da Vinci Code” and will film at locations across the world!
Sounds exciting. Do you think you would watch?

Nick Santora Dishes on Prison Break Season 5
December 27, 2008 by Nikki Katz
Nick Santora says that the Prison Break writers will stick around for as long as they are asked to continue writing … no word yet on if there will be a Season 5 though!
“We will continue to make PB for as long as the network asks us to,” Nick writes on PBreakFans. “But if we are not asked back for a 5th season or a 6th or whatever, that would be the end of the road. But we, as writer/producers, don’t worry about that stuff - we make as good a show as we can and see what happens. The network has been great to us and they are our partners in the show - we will work hard for them and give them a show we hope they are proud of and see what happens. That’s the way it is on every show. You put it on the air and hope for the best.”
Nick Santora Talks Kellerman Briefly
November 12, 2008 by Nikki Katz
Nick Santora chatted again on PBreakFans about Kellerman. He keeps dancing around the issue. I’m not sure what that means yet!
Nick said that his, “acting skills (and those of the other writers) make it clear that we should stick to the keyboard punching. a lot of people have asked about kellerman - all I can say is “I can’t say anything.” I did explain once before that contractually these things are difficult. That’s all I can say, however.“
Nick Santora on Hanging Out With the PB Crew!
October 10, 2008 by Nikki Katz

Nick Santora recently wrote on PBreakFans that he sometimes hangs out with the cast and crew of Prison Break.
“Most fun we ever had is when we all went to Vegas together. I can’t tell you exactly what went on there … you know, what happens in Vegas …. But, truth is, we laugh and have fun every day while working very hard.”
I want to hang out with the cast and crew of Prison Break too!!!
