Lincoln and Veronica or Lincoln and Sofia?
June 28, 2009 by Nikki Katz
Lincoln Burrows was attached to two very different women in this series - Veronica and Sofia. Who do you like better?
In Prison Break Season 1 we’re first introduced to Veronica Donovan as Lincoln’s ex-girlfriend. Veronica and Lincoln dated while they were in high school and Veronica became good friends with Michael.
Veronica then moved from Chicago to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received a B.A. in political science. After receiving her Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas, she moved back to Chicago and worked as a real estate lawyer at Bianchi and Guthrie.
Her relationship with Lincoln did not last long and both of them separated.
In Prison Break Season 3 Lincoln met Sofia Lugo while trying to get his brother out of SONA. At the time they meet Sofia is the girlfriend of James Whistler. She attempts to get him out of prison and works side by side with Lincoln. Their relationship grows closer and she learns more and more about Whistler and the truth behind his lies.
In the season finale Sofia decided to break up with Whistler, when she realizes that she could no longer trust him. As Michael leaves to find Whistler, Lincoln and LJ decided to stay back to take care of Sofia.
In Prison Break Season 4, Sofia is held captive by Company agents but is released unharmed by the General after Sucre and C-Note apprehend him. Four years later, she is shown to be romantically involved with Lincoln.
Who do you think was a better match for Lincoln?

Prison Break Season 4 Spoilers

Prison Break
Season 4
Spoilers
Ask Ausiello with E!Online answered another question about Prison Break.
“Nothing that’ll really surprise you. I mean, it’s Prison Break — you kinda figure people are gonna die (like, several of ‘em). Aside from that, a few past characters are gonna resurface (including C-Note and Sofia), and the Company is gonna get shut down. (Yay!) Hey, on second thought, this might titillate you: Apparently, Michael is smacked with a Sophie’s choice and has to decide whether to save Lincoln’s head or Sara’s. And since she’s already lost hers once…”
I’m hoping that Michael saves both, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Lincoln dies by the end of the series.
Lincoln & Sofia One of TV’s Worst Couples?
February 15, 2009 by Nikki Katz

I’ve never been a big fan of the rushed, and quick-ended, romance of Lincoln and Sofia, and it seems that others feel the same way!
In a recent TV Guide feature, Lincoln and Sofia earned one of the top spots for Television’s Worst Couples. Here’s what they say…
In theory, these two have potential, and ostensibly should be having hot, crazy sex. (Lord knows, Dominic Purcell’s fans have waited long enough for their boy to get it on on-screen.) But here’s the problem: No sooner did Linc and Sofia hook up at the end of Season 3, than the next story arc left her in the dust. Hopefully, we’ll get a reunion before the show goes bye-bye this spring.

Lincoln Burrows - 6th Hottest TV Dad
March 15, 2008 by Nikki Katz
BuddyTV has ranked the top 15 Hottest TV Dads and Lincoln Burrows came in 6th!
While many female viewers may prefer the soft, pretty features of co-star Wentworth Miller, it is Dominic Purcell’s strength and manliness that puts Prison Break over the top. Lincoln Burrows, in spite of facing insurmountable odds as a falsely accused murderer, was more concerned with the well-being of his own son than himself. He’s willing to walk into danger and take every chance just to save his son, and that love and loyalty makes him ever hotter.

Prison Break - Upcoming Spoilers
January 14, 2008 by Nikki Katz
With Prison Break starting up again tonight there are spoilers flying around!!
Amaury Nolasco told TV Guide that this season has offered an entirely different dynamic for him. “I’d never had more than two lines with [Dominic Purcell] the first season,” he says. “This year, it’s like we have a whole Danny Glover and Mel Gibson thing going on. With Wentworth, I used to say it was like The Odd Couple. With Dom, it’s more like Starsky and Hutch.”
A lot happens in the next five episodes. Producers insist that, unlike Season 1, viewers won’t have to wait until May for the inmates to escape: There will be a breakout from Sona and not everyone will get out alive.
And get this, Michael will take someone’s life!
“Nobody’s indispensable. I wouldn’t be surprised if they killed off me or Wentworth or Dominic one day,” Nolasco teases. “I open the script every week and wonder whether Sucre’s still alive.”
Even with a successful escape, Sona will continue to be a key setting, with new inmates calling the lawless fortress home. “Once they break out, there are some main characters left behind in Sona,” Purcell says. “There are some pretty big shocks. But the stuff in Sona has been highly entertaining and fun to watch, so [the producers] want to keep that alive.”
The season “keeps getting better and better,” promises Robert Knepper. “In the last few moments of the [Feb. 18] episode you’ll be saying, ‘He’s baaack!’ It’s quite a ride to get there.”
The episode, he adds, “has an incredible cliff-hanger. But as much as people say they want to know what happens, they don’t really because they want to watch it.”

Top Ten Reasons why Lincoln is Better than Michael
October 3, 2007 by Nikki Katz
Cute article from Kristin Sample at TVSquad:
1. He’s got a really nice body (one that is tan and muscular and often sweaty). If Grey’s Anatomy has “McDreamy” and “McSteamy,” then Prison Break has “McBeefy.”
2. He’s one of the few actors I have ever seen that looks good with five o’clock shadow … on his whole head.
3. He’s the main reason for the plot of the show. (If he was never set-up by the company, Michael would never have had to get sent to Fox River and bust him out. You can’t really call it Prison Break if the main characters don’t need to escape from a prison. Oh wait, unless it’s season two of Prison Break.)
4. He gets into good fight scenes. (I seem to remember an awesome head butt in season one as hMichael and Lincolne protected a newbie guard from T-Bag and his cronies. Anyone who uses a head butt is cool.)
5. He’s got all ten toes. (I seem to remember a certain mob boss cutting a toe off of Michael’s foot. Did that ever get reattached?)
6. He’s a good older brother. (In season three so far, Lincoln has encouraged a forlorn Michael to continue on his quest to get Whistler out and save Sara and LJ. Lincoln even went so far as to say that he wished that they could change places. Lincoln would gladly take Michael’s place in Sona, the deadliest prison in Panama.)
7. He’s tougher than Michael. (Michael may have the MacGyver smarts but he is so whiny at times. It often takes a brother who has been on death row to readjust Michael’s perspective.)
8. Have I mentioned the muscles?
9. He’s clever. Michael is obviously the one with more creativity and ingenuity but Lincoln’s resourcefulness is on the rise. (This season he is proving to be a valuable asset to Michael outside the prison. He tricked Susan B. Anthony by buying a second bird book and keeping the original for himself and Michael. Also, he figured out that Sara was pointing at a clue in the photos taken by the kidnappers.)
10. His love story with Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney) totally trumps the Michael and Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) plotline. (The one tender moment in the prison cell that Lincoln and Veronica is better than all the lovey-dovey-makey-outey moments that Michael and Sara have. I just can’t get into them.)
