Amaury Nolasco Leaves ‘Southland’
October 1, 2009 by Nikki Katz
Oh man! I’m bummed by this news. Amauary Nolasco has departed NBC’s Southland after filming just three episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Earlier this year, Nolasco had signed up to appear in the cop drama as a new series regular.
No reason has been cited for his exit, but 39-year-old actor Clifton Collins has been added to the cast to fill the void left by Nolasco. Collins will not be playing the same character as Nolasco. Instead, he’ll play a (new) character named Ray Suarez (no additional details on the role).
Hopefully we’ll see Nolasco’s character in those three episodes at least!

I think those pb guys will keep shifting, moving around from film to film, projects to projects, until they find themselves where they are so very “happy and successful” …….PRISON-BREAK!!!!….if not I wish them all the best in their future projects.
Nice to see him with Wentworth!
Wish him all the success as well!
*I hope he gets a new show soon coz I think he’s a great actor&he deserves the best*
Seems weird he left his job at the same time his girlfriend, Jennifer Morrison, left hers! Anyone know why?
I pray he is being called back for prison break season 5
We pray he is being called back for prison break season 5 as well!
I pray too for season 5.
