Dominic Purcell – Longer Hair or Shaved?

I ran across this picture of Dominic Purcell from 2002 when he was starring in John Doe, and I began to wonder – does he look better with his hair longer or shaved?
He obviously had to cut it for the role of Prison Break, in order to play an inmate, but do you think he should grow it out again?
