Exec Producers Talk More on Prison Break Series Finale & Possible Spin-Off

Prison Break executive producer, Matt Olmstead, opened up to EW about the decision to end the series this year. He also says that we WILL get an extra two hours of the show that they might spin like a TV movie!
There was “nowhere to go beyond this season,” Matt says and he didn’t want the show to become a parody of itself. When he speaks about the May finale, Matt spills that “There will be deaths.”
So what about this two hours of additional filming? Olmstead says that the have filmed a couple of extra segments that he says “address a couple of other storylines [and] can play as a standalone [movie].” Hmm, a Love Story perhaps?!?!?
Executive producer, Dawn Parouse, also weighed in on the potential Prison Break spin-off. “I would love to do a show about a women’s prison. It would have to be a fresh start — if not by us, then somebody.”
This would be great, if they start a Serie with a Women Prison.
But it should have a different Story-Line!!

Just encarcerate Sara and have Michael break her out.. That solves all problems except one. It would be something Dawn Parouse would like, women’s prison, and for Matt olmstead, this is the perfect ending to the series. The only thing it doesn’t help is Prison Break’s credibility.. It would be just like making fun of the show.. They should still do it though.. Whatever, I don’t care anymore.. I thought the writers would be more creative than this.. I mean, if I could come up with this and THEY couldn’t… Best to put the show in the ground..
im glad to hear there will be an additional 2 hours. who do you think will die? Self? T-bag? Sara? Michael? Linc? Mahone? Sucre? hmm. my money is on the bad guys. we’ve lost enough good guys these past 4 years. and how could they have already filmed extra segments if they are still filming episode 19?
but prison break is over right? the hole spin-off stuff is a new series right?
Sorry..I don’t understand..the 2 hours are the end of the show??or the show ends in episode 22?

I guess it looks like that spin-off, if it happens, won’t be centered around Gretchen. Too bad, I felt so sorry for JLOK when they write her out.
They’re killing the good guys, at least one of the brothers in 4.22 and the extra 2 hours are a pilot for testing a new series. There might be someone from PB. This is how I get this and I don’t like that.
I’m so sad PB is ending. I knew it would most likely end this season, but seeing it just makes it final.
I don’t want Michael, Sara, or Mahone to die. Especially, MiSa. Those three should get a happy ending, IMO. I see T-Bag and Self dying. I could see Linc dying also. Linc, he got his name cleared and the conspiracy is out there now. WHEN they bring down the Company he’ll know his son is safe from them.
As for the PB spin off… no! Just NO. Enough said.
I just hope Mahone, Scofield and Sarah don’t die. T-Bab, I don’t really care. As goes for Self and Linc. Linc makes me mad kinda. He thinks too much of himself if you notice.
But as for the series finale, It’s gonna be sad. I’m gonna need a new hobby.
In a way it’s bittersweet.
Break returns April 17 to air its remaining six episodes. Michael and Lincoln (Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell) will finally catch a break — at a huge cost — in May’s finale. Says Olmstead,

Maybe it does end with Michael working for the company. What huge cost? Maybe again he is the martyr and decides to dot his so his brother, Sara, etc can get their lives back.
I don’t want a spin off too…I hope a happy ending for Michael and Sarah..they deserve it..and for Linc too..Self has to die!! Alex…i hope a good end..but t-bag needs to go back to prison..to fox river…
THAT WOULD BE FANTASTIC BY SARA BEYING THE MAIN CHARACTER AND THE WOMAN IN PRISON, AND HOPFULLY THE WHOLE CAST WOULD STAY. WE GOT USED TO THEM ALLL
It would be exciting if they proposed a new series with Sara being the main character, but if they go with a women’s prison breakout, they should introduce another character.

Michael and Sara working for the company, and Michael … it kills his surname Scofield, and is called Michael Burrows ….? Scofield dies and lives as Burrows?????…
