Prison Break Series Ending This Spring

FOX just released a press release regarding the end of the Prison Break series. (commence weeping now).
“The greatest escape on television comes to an end after four suspenseful seasons when PRISON BREAK returns for the series’ final episodes beginning Friday, April 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”
The press release chats about the show and recaps the series to this point.
“Following a series of double-crosses, the brothers now find themselves racing to retrieve SCYLLA, which unbeknownst to them has landed in the possession of their estranged mother and Company operative Christina (Kathleen Quinlan).”
So there you have it.

Now it is official…prison break goes to finish. It is very strange to read this notice…:(

it breaks my heart, though in recent interviews the cast sort of said it already. Just hope for them that this will bring further glory like Paul Adelstein has. I will however grieve for the loss of the brothers, a golden combination.
NOOOOOOOOO! We all saw this coming and while I’m saddened, there is no way a 5th season would have been a good idea. This season has been okay, but not great and an argument can be made that it is the weakest of all the seasons. Historically, it is, in my opinion one of the greatest shows ever. Please finish strong Prison Break and give us the great ending we deserve. You will be missed.
Fridays at 8 wow what a weird time change…however I am sadden with such news and I know there wwon’t ever be another show like Prison Break

Well I cant say that im surprised.. it would have been nice to get a surprise we have reinvigorated the show, going back to season 1 type of thing… but how could they!

OMG just seeing the amount of episodes we have left is depressing. I cant believe this. I just hope Sarah and Wentworth get their time on the show and maybe we can see them in a movie together in the future…. Im so sad, I dont know what else to say. Its the best show ever and I will miss it so much!
Now it’s time to cry.

WE knew it was coming, I just wish they would let them keep their Monday night time slot…they gave it to house. Anyway it said on spoiler tv there might be 8 more episodes to finish the show properly. I just feel so sad.

Email FOX to protest the Friday night move. That is a low blow to move PB from it’s usual Monday night to graveyard Friday night. Let PB go out in STYLE. It deserves better than that!!! FOX is all about the money.
Also, tell FOX that you want the 2 additional episodes!!!!! We fans deserve that much!!!!

knew this was coming but am a bit confused. at sarahwaynecallies.net it says they are going to show 4 for sure but are contemplating a few more, so im kind of confused as to how many eps for sure we’re getting. i hope it’s 8 but judging by the fact that its moving to fridays…im assuming they’re only going to do wither the 4 or 6.
and i also hope swc and wm work together in the future. wm wants to do a romantic comedy. itd be funny to see the 2 of them do something like that.
I was a runner up on prison break.
I started watching season 1 online in 2007 or early 2008.
Since I was 14 back then I found it to be a bit scary but still interesting and great to watch.
I watched season 1 in about 1 or 2 weeks then season 2 in 1-2 weeks and then I started watching season 3 till episode 11 when I found out I was caught up to the latest episode. I watched 12 and 13 as soon as they aired.
I had been expecting 14 but I never came and I found out it was the end of the season.
So at the end of 2008 I found prisonbreakbuff.com and visited it for news on season 4. Then in september when season 4 aired I watched it every week until the season finally.
Now I am a fan of 24 and season 7 premiered last night with a 2 night-4 hr premier. So losing prison break isn’t to bad
Since this is the last season of prison break and they have finished shooting, I’d like them to air the final 6 or 8 episodes withing 2 or 4 nights in a row. And I want a satisfying ending or a movie sometime in the future.

When i saw the episode 16, i think the series will be more longer than i thought. Coz some fact were just revealed. But now…? I knew the day will come. But thank god, I have the dvds from Season 1.
Whenever i miss them, i will just put them on the player
I think Prison Break should not end this time, See the best series like Lost, CSI, Desperate Housewifes, Grey Antonomy and lots of series are going good with high rating. Prison Break should be going and have a good ratings. You should not give up making more Prison Break seasons. Yeah, it will be sad to have this to be ended finally. We are gonna miss the casts. Prison Break is the best series!!!!! Hope Wentworth Miller moves on with other new films and new challenges. I presume Went would love to act more movies like romantic, drama, action or else! I am sure that we will see more of him in any days!!! I take the hat off to Prison Break Fox director, writer and producer for all the hard and best work for all seasons.!!! Hope Season 5 will come!!! Make the best ratings!!!!

Yes, PB has had a great run, They could do a season 5 in a women’s prison having Michael break out Sara, but I guess not. Oh well, it’s been a great ride. I love Prison Break.
Hmm, I did not see where WM said he wants to do a romantic comedy – but it would be very interesting to see him and sara working in a movie like that. You just never know.
I’m so sad to see this show ending. It just seems there won’t be enough time to close loose ends.
Oh well – it was a great ride! And i’ve got all the seasons dvd’s (except 4 which i’ll be getting too) to watch whenever i’m going through PB withdrawal

Well there we have it then. Some news for my birthday, my favourite series will end. My favourite TV character of the decade (yes, the amazing William Fichtner as Alexander Mahone) gone. They better give him his happy ending or I will be really depressed.
When season 4 started I honestly didn’t think they could pull this off. I really didn’t care much fore the Sona part and lost a lot of interest in Season 3. But then they kicked it into high speed again and came up with the best season after the first (my opinion). Tension, action, a storyline that won’t slow down and of course the Mahone/Wyatt stand-off WOW!!!!
Let’s just hope they can finish on a high note. Thanks PB for 4 years of great entertainment!!!

Well it’s too bad that PB is going to end, but to be honest the last season wasn’t that good. In my opinion they shouldn’t have made the 4th season. Maybe a PB movie will be an option, in the Netherlands (holland) the series where a success, I even think it was more populair overhere. Well wait and see, maybe steven spielberg can make a nice PB movie (even with a women PB in it

No way!!! This can not happen. I have gotten hooked on this series. This show has every thing: drama, action, suspense, a little bit of reality with fiction, and most of all hooked fans. If Scoffield can break out of two prisons and break into a highly secured building and take SCYLLA, then these producers can do the impossible by keeping this show going long enough to give the fans what they want. There are too many loose ends. The mother is still alive and not been discovered by the brothers, the Company hasn’t been taken down, the mission hasn’t been completed, and T-Bag is still on the streets to murder, rape, and molest.
Either one more season or at least a couple more series tacked on to Season 4 to complete the loose ends.
