Dominic Purcell Chats Lincoln and Prison Break Fans

Dominic Purcell chatted with TVAddict about his character, Prison Break around the world, and more!
Dominic says that the TPTB are constantly coming up with ways to keep the show going. “It’s not necessarily us the actors or the writers. It’s the suits. They love the show and they want us to keep it going.” That said, Dominic is always wondering if the audience is going to get into the show each year.
What’s not going to change much is Lincoln. “Linc is the anchor of the show, he’s the solid muscle that keeps everyone in line,” Dominic says. He says Lincoln is the enforcer and Michael is the genius. “It’s a yin and yang thing. That’s not to say I wouldn’t love to see a lot more character development with Linc. But you have to remember, you’re dealing with the big picture here.”
When it comes to the huge fan base, Dominic says that he has never really dealt with what the fans think of the show. “I’m one of these guys who come to work, loves what I do and checks it at the door. For me it’s a job, a good job.”
Dominic is still coming to terms with being a celebrity. He says that he’s not newsworthy but he had the paparazzi following him all the way home from Santa Monica one day! “I just gave them the bird and stuff but I ended up online and my kids saw what Dad was going. So it’s really made me think hat I can’t carry on like that. I just have to pretend they’re not there.”

Ha ha so totally true Dom.
Linc is the anchor and “solid muscle” of the show.
No doubt about it.
But when Dom said: “you’re facing the bigger picture” is that supposed to be a joke?
Sometimes he’s funny. Other times, Dom tries too hard.
