Michael Scofield - It’s Not a Tumor!
Kristin at E!Online sums up the issue of Michael’s illness with the following quip:
The nosebleeds are not going to be fatal, it’s not a tumor, and the show will begin to explore more of Scofield’s backstory.
I guess that’s some good news, right?!? Although she does further say that “Michael is indeed ill, and it’s a major part of this season’s mystery. According to a source close to the show, “The nosebleeds will be a big story this season. It will tie in with his mother’s history.” It is not an infection or a severe reaction from the tattoo removal.“

so long as its not fatal! this news has made me breathe a big sigh of relief. still…i feel bad for michael - another thing for him to worry about. on the upside though, it will give sara and linc a chance to take care of him like he’s been taking care of them for so long. thanks for posting nikki!

I agree thank goodness, I was worried he might die…so glad not a tumor. I’m sure sara’s dr side will come out when she finds out he is ill.

yes I am thrilled to hear its not fatal, but I still am worried they are gonna kill michael off at the end of the series, I will hate that ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or … something more light … like a complicated migraine. A migraine can be inherited from his mother.

it could still be serious and it could be something that could be fatal WITHOUT surgery, and seeing as how Michael is stubborn as all hell, he’ll probably try and wait until he figured out the Scylla thing to go through with it. I dont think he’s out of the woods yet.
I think it could have something to do with his cerebral cortex expanding which could also be the reason why he is so smart. Without treatment, he could still be really really sick.

the new script for ep 15 (over at spoilertv) says that it is a tumor. and scofields mom had a tumor so i think kristen may be wrong on this one - i still think it could actually be a tumor. but is anyone reading these scripts and then comparing them to the actual eps? i havent been but im wondering if i should cuz ive read the scripts but ive never noticed anything from the scripts in any of the episodes. hmm…

Do you realize people - this is just a TV show? There is no real Michael. There are millions of dying people around the world you should be more worried about than some stupid series.

hey kras, wot hapens on tv series implies the dairly life cases. the boy shud not die bt its up on to the writers… to make it interesting he must get sick but to loose fans they must try killin him
