Nick Santora ‘Yeah … They Boinked’

Aired: September 1, 2008
Nick Santora Clarifications
Over at PBreakFans Nick Santora has answered a couple questions regarding the Season 4 Premiere of Prison Break. One question was what happened prior to us seeing Michael and Sara in bed together. His response? “Yeah … they boinked.” Hmmmm. I’m just wondering why Michael didn’t notice her scars then!
As for the night of the premiere, Nick says that “We all got together last night as a team to watch the premiere, which was fun.” I wonder who all was there!
Nick also wrote a post prior to the show airing, saying that he hopes the fans enjoy the show. “I hope everyone enjoys the eps tonight — Olmstead wrote the first one and Zack wrote the second one … they are both great writers so you should be in for a treat. There is a lot to wrap up from the end of last season (remember, because of the strike we have to wrap up NINE episodes of stuff in the first couple of acts of the first episode tonight … not an easy task) and a lot to get started for this new season - it was a challenge, but one we embraced and had fun with. All the best, and thank you for the continued support of Prison Break.”

Boinked? means resting and sleeping? because it’s what seems they did

they better not have slept together, in my opinion it’s too soon considering what everyone has been through plus if they sleep together wouldnt a bigger deal be made out of it. like we would know for sure rather than having to ask one of the writers. if misa sleeps together i want them to show some of it.

I like Zack Estrin’s writing :)
The same goes to Matt Olmstead.
Now that they’ve gotten those ‘nine’ episodes out of the way, I just hope they don’t stretch the remaining 21 (i.e. slow pace).
It wouldn’t be good if they condense everything in 1 episode and drag the rest :(
That will upset the pace and rhythm of Prison Break.

Not sure it even remotely felt like anything happened to me. I also agree if they slept together why woudnt he have felt her back. That seems odd to me.

I never really liked Nick Santora. He seems so arrogant with his answers.
Is it just me?

I don’t think he’s arrogant. He is just self-confident and he has faith in his work! :)

I agree if they slept together we should have seen they with less clothes on. My god we saw Michael in hiw boxers in season one. They could have at least had on tank tops or something. I never liked Nick either, he was not very concerned about the fans’ feelings last season with the whole SWC thing.

How I wish Wentworth uses a tank top/sleeveless shirt/singlet in Prison Break or simply just t-shirts than the long sleeves. He looks better that way :) I know, it’s all because of the tattoo. I just found out why Sara’s character often wears the 3/4 sleeves, it’s because she had a scar on her left arm. I still remember she jump off from the hotel to escape from Paul Kellerman in season two.

I guess even good writers say stupid things sometimes. I hate that expression, “they boinked” - it shows such a lack of class and is disrespectful to the characters. Nick Santora did not write either of the first two episodes so he may not be an authority on what really happened in that bedroom (not to mention with Lincoln just down the hall!). What’s always been compelling for me about the Michael and Sara dynamic is that their romance has always been subtle and understated. I thought the writers did an amazing job reuniting them in an intimate way whilst preserving their privacy.

He didnt see the scars because he didnt do her from behind.

I totally agree with Bean. He relegates himself with an expression like boinked.
My point of view that MiSa didn’t make sex.

nobody from the show is egotistical, come on, this is our show you’re talking about. Respect the creators, they can say whatever they want about the characters like ‘they boinked’. It’s not disrespectful if you’re talking about fictional characters. Maybe the guy’s funny and wanted to be subtle about it. “they boinked..” great..
Michael and Sara did in fact make love.. And yes, Michael probably wouldn’t have seen or felt the scars if they were doing it regular style … *snicker*
So, since the first season, it’s been a while.. Sucre only found out that Maricruz was pregnant then.. right? .. She finally had her baby in the opener of S4 (to renew Sucre’s motivation for this season) That means it should have been a solid 8-9 months since the begining.. right? .. It funny because the message that Mahone put on europeangoldfinch.net to meet with Michael at the Santa Monica Pier was dated in July.. The same year as the original breakout?? someone help me figure out exactly how long it’s been (time-wise) since the original episode. Not when it aired, but ‘prison break time’ the first season was like a month or so before they broke out. Then they were on the run for only a couple weeks before ending up in Panama. And It was only like 2 weeks there too. Then 3 weeks later the events from the S4 premiere happened and it’s only been about a week and a half since then. How did Maricruz have her baby??

Why I say ‘July’ like that is because Lincoln was supposed to die in the chair in April of 2005, the year the actual series started. Then in S2, watching Mahone, on his desk there was a ‘tear-away’ calender that was dated in mid-May, the breakout from Fox River was in May of 2005. The convicts were on the run until mid-June, when they ended up in Sona (for 2 weeks) and now it’s been 3 weeks later for S4 and they’re in July. Someone tell me how the hell Maricruz had her baby.
