The Man has answered some more questions on Prison Break Season 4… the recap as follows:
- Michael’s tattoo removal will be explained in the first episode.
- Sucre’s baby is a girl, or so The Man thinks. He’s not sure!
- Michael does NOT go back to prison. The crew is spending a lot of time in a warehouse that FEELS like a prison.
- Maricruz is fine.

I still can’t believe it is going to be Sucre’s baby…so how much time has passes. Also will we see Maricruz. We saw the tats in the promo, with him in the window…?

i have read that the timing is going to be different this year, season 2 and season 3 happen over the course of about 3 or 4 weeks season 4 is going to be sometime in the future and is going to use flashbacks to go backwards as the story moves forward at the same time

why are they taking it off ye ok he dosent need it so that means that wen he is in a short sleeve top he will aff lads of scares on his arm and if he dosent then thats just poor

To remove a tattoo that big would cost quite a bit. It would take a while to remove and should leave a semi-visible layer of ink. Where is he going to get the time and money for these removal sessions and how is he prioritizing the appearance of his skin over finalizing the Sara drama? I dislike the whole tattoo removal idea. I think it’s a lazy cop-out to toss into the plot so that we could see Wentworth showing a little skin without the complications of applying the ink over his exposed areas. They better show the scar on the back of his shoulder blade when they do a bare back scene(LOL). Unless he’s going to have skin grafted from his brother’s head. What’s next? Are they going unearth T-Bag’s frozen hand and transplant some fingers as toes on Micheal’s butchered foot?

Bah keep the tattoo!! KEEP IT. At least for the most part of season 4. If they have a decent a believable explanation then i wont be so pissed off, but the thing is, we all know it’s because Went is lazy and cant be bothered with all the upkeep that comes along with the believability of a decent show.
Bah.
Oh and also if it’s a couple of months in advance then it makes sense for Sucre to have a baby. But this they they’ve done things seems lazy in itself as they’re moving on with the story now and worrying about the plot later, with no doubt alot of unanswered questions yet again.
But Prison Break rules so yeah. Keep the tattoo.

There are loads of ways to gradually fade tattoos that don’t involve procedures. Such as dgshag said, wrecking balm will work quite effectively.

For the baby to be sucre’s [and assuming it’s the full 9 month pregancy], then the gap between S3 and S4 will have to be 6 months.
That’s a HUGE gap.

OMG NO tattoo!! i still think they should’ve left it in the script, lets hope they’ve got a good explaination on the removal! It’ll be nice to see Went in his normal state! lol! Lets hope he shows some skin! he he!
@Sona44- Hey Hun!! So good to be back online, miseed ya all! Will look back at the old posts, so nice that you thought of me! he he! Glasto was amazing!! Didn’t want it to end, can’t wait to go next year, best festival ever, everyone is really nice, & the age range of people who go is crazy! lol! Jay-z was good, he did do a lot of free-style rapping which unfortunately the crowd didn’t feel, but overall performance was great, at the start he managed to get everyone to sing wonderwall by oasis, that was such a great experience! So whats ya plans for today? mine is general housework! oh the joys!!

Been thinking about it and i will lose respect for the show if they remove the tattoo. I hope when they say “It will be addressed” and not “It will be removed” means he will make some comment like “First thing i do when this is all over is remove this tattoo hur hur hur.”
However in the promo when Linc tells Michael “You better have one hell of a plan” i think you can see Scofields bare forearm.

Michael has neither the time nor the money to remove the tatoo. Even if the gap between S3 and S4 is 6 months, I still don’t think Michael has the time for this removal cause every single second is valuable for him. He has more important things to think about!
I don’t want him to remove it…
This tattoo is part of this show!
But it’s so exhausting and time-consuming for Wentworth, so maybe it’s better for him to be removed :(

i think the tattoo really should stay. it’s a reminder that these are the same guys that broke out of Fox River. that Michael is still the same guy that just wanted to save his brother, not get caught up in this conspiracy.

Wha? Michael and the Tat are star of the show! Ah, well, poor Went, I can understand he can’t undergo 4 hours of makeup anymore every time he is supposed to show some skin in the show…and, if you ask me, I’d rather have Went’s skin showing all the time than Went’s tat hidden under the clothes, don’t you agree?!
But the removal?! Hmm… I’m thinking they’ll come up with the story that the ink was of a sort that fades away of its own after, say, few moths….?!

All this so they can appeal a bit of eye candy in a shallow attempt to perhaps boost ratings amongst the same female demographic that complained Sara was killed off in the first place?
Stupid.
Don’t fire at me with “JEALOUS!!” either, it’s just what season 1 and 2 was based around, and i love any reminders we get or references which are made to past events in Prison Break history. Like when T-Bag was telling whistler about what happened when they broke out.
Sort of reminds you that this stuff actually happened.
Without the tattoo, the history of the show is erased.

I agree with you there Tom, the history of the show will be erased. Its what the first two seasons was based on! I know the tattoo isn’t gonna be used anymore, & hasn’t been used for a long time, but thats the whole part of the character, thats what we’ve come to love ( if you know what i mean!). I’m not entirely happy with the idea! Lets just see what the writers have come up with.

i agree with you tom but still the eye candy was all about the tatoo too…
they’re just trying to find a way to make the show easier or “cheaper” and it’s kind of bothering me, but i guess bringing back sara wayne calles was not cheap…
tabitha is right we need to have a little faith …

Even though everyone seems upset over him losing his tattoos, I don’t mind too much. I just remind myself that we’re lucky enough to have Sara back, and that’s all I could ask for.
I think that for his character in the show, removing his tattoos is actually a good idea, as long as he uses wrecking balm, as previously pointed out. By removing his tattoos, he is less recognized by the public and authorities. If people see that he looks familiar, and look at his arms in fear but see no tattoo, then they would be like “oh thank goodness that’s not Michael Scofield, because there’s no tattoos on this man.”
Since we aren’t 100% sure his tattoos will be removed, I wouldn’t worry yet.

Exactly SOP we all need to have faith in the writers, they’ve had us all hooked up to this point, so surely they’re gonna have a great story -line planned thats gonna keep us coming back for more!
Michelle has a good point too, by removing the tattoo, he is less recognisable to others. Onlt time will tell…

Wow I didn’t know the tattoo removal would spark such a debate (or an outcry to be exact)!
I think we should have faith in the writers and see it ourselves when the new season premieres.
It could be much better than we anticipated.
I’m sure they would have learnt their lesson with Season 3…

It better had explain what the tatoo removal is for because i disagree with this suggestion.
Michael’s tatoo is legendary ever since season 1.
However, bring on the short sleeves mike! LOL
Last i heard, Maricruz mentioned her baby to be a boy somewhere in S1, and now The Man thinks Sucre is having a girl?!
And i’m also wondering why is the brothers spending a lot of time in a warehouse? Isn’t maximum level one enough for them? Or is this because they don’t want to be detected by the company so quickly?

It would be nice for season 4 to end with him removing the tattoo, as thats how season 1 started. Would work very well.

The removal of the tattoo at the end of S4 could also mean the beginning of a new life for Michael, living behind everything that reminds him the last months!
If the writers have Michael sacrifice himself for his “sins” at the end of S4, they will make a huge mistake.
Michael has already sacrificed his life once, at the end of S2. I don’t want to see that again!
I just found a part of a Sarah’s interview at the FOX forum! I think somebody has already mentioned it but I’m not sure so I’ll post it!

After all the trauma she suffered in a few months, Sara will find itself in an extremely fragile psychological state. Sara is one of the few characters to have not been involved in any crime before she met Mike. In this season, she will face the consequences of her choice.

One thing is sure: do not expect that Mike and Sara will fall into each others arms during their reunion. It will take time to rebuild their relationship and he was not told the full story completely.”

On the one hand it’s logical. Sara wasn’t used to a lifestyle like that and she need to take her time…

I have received my exam’s results and all my class got it, so we celebrated it yesterday and today, even it was the most useless and the least important exam of our lives, all the same it was the first !

it should end with michael sitting down having his tats removed, maybe with the help of sara, just in a way that says, “i’m washing away the past”.
Don’t kill michael, dont kill lincoln [if they did that, then what would the whole point of the show have been? might as well have died in the chair].

I haven’t received the results of my exams yet :(
But I have a pretty good idea about what I should expect! There are 7 courses at each semester and I’m sure that I have fail at the 3 of them :(
But the good thing about the greek universities is that if you fail at a course you can take exams as many times you want till you manage to pass! So I have to take exams again at September for these 3 courses…
The bad thing is that I have to study during my vacation :(

I think the first episode was stupid. It felt so fast, … so many looop holes in the story. Michaels tatoos shouldnt have been removed. Thats like removing the ” S ” on supermans chest … tsk tsk
