Director’s Take

Night escape from SONA:
Director Kevin Hooks talks about the guys having dug the tunnel. They’re waiting for the lights to go out and Michael says go. Lechero takes the cover off the tunnel and they start running. Robert Knepper describes the scene – they’re all running running running and the lights come on! Bellick, T-Bag and Lechero get caught. Little did anyone know that this was Michael’s plan.

It’s interesting to see Robert Knepper talk about what’s going through his head during the scene. You can see in his eyes how T-Bag is thinking of what to do next!

Kevin Hooks speaks further about shooting as much as they can in one lighting setup – so they do several different camera angles.

Discussion Points:

  • What do you think of Robert Knepper as an actor after watching this scene?

  • Did this scene have enough surprise and tension for you? [I personally felt it lacked some of the drama and *gasping* surprise of Season 1]

Thanks to PBElite.org for the video.

Hey Nikki — not to take away from the discussions here but I thought ya’ll would be interested to know that PB is sponsoring a charity visit to the PB set. It is for 2 folks to visit the set & the proceeds to benefit the Jorge Posada Foundation, The bidding ends on June 24th & last bid was for $550. You can go to http://www.charitybuzz.com for more details or to bid!!

Whoever wins needs to go & spy for us.
We want details!!!! All that you saw & heard when you were there. lol
It would be quite the adventure to get to go & see the set & meet the cast.
