Gravedigger:
Director Mike Switzer chats about Susan B. killing the Gravedigger, a man that Lincoln needs desperately. Susan decides that he’s of no use and shoots him down. Jodi O’Keefe describes her character as a “cleaner” because she comes in and handles the situation when noone else can.

We also learn about squib heads (pyrotechnic devices) that are used so that the actors don’t get hurt! The crew displays how the actual shot of Gravedigger (through the hand and the chest) is complicated. We see the scene acted out and Lincoln screams, “What the hell are you doing? We need him!”
