I think they’re counting characters like Lechero as it seemed to be a “spoiler” that Robert Wisdom wasn’t returning…despite his character’s very clear death.

Two people I want to see gone from Prison Break. Brad Bellick and Sofia Lugo. Two people I don’t want to see gone from Prison Break. Fernando Sucre and Theodore Bagwell. Wait! It can’t be LJ who goes, can it?!?!

As far as I can see, this could be referring to Sofia, LJ, Whistler, and/or Gretchen.
It’d be cool if we just wiped out all of the S3 debut characters and re-started with a clean slate. Though I must admit, I’ll miss Gretchen *ducks*.

I hope Sofia is one of those characters. I never liked her, she is just too boring.

I think that Sofia was designed to be a disposable character but they are going to build up your emotions between her and Burrows before that would ever happen.
As far as the first episode goes I would have to say that Bellick seems like the likely one to go. “IF” two characters get iced well then it would probably be someone shocking like Whistler or Mahone to make way for new villains. Wentworth did say that the writers are “geniuses at the plot twists, there’s always something fresh interesting and unexpected”.
More importantly, he said that we say “good-bye” to some characters. What does that mean? Good-Bye like: Benjamin Miles ‘C-Note’ Franklin good bye? or Good-Bye like: President Reynolds brother good-bye? A McGrady farewell could be what he meant. Like Gretchen being pulled off the assignment.
He also says that “they are spoilers and that’s just as far as he can go”. Although he is limited under contract not to reveal the details he WAS authorized to mention that we say “bye” to some characters. If he was instructed to lead fans into believing characters are dying well then I’d have to discredit anything the producers are dishing out through Mr. Miller. I remember when they had him look the viewing audience in the camera (during some interview) and Wentworth said something like “for all you fans out there asking if Sara is dead. She is Dead.” I saw that video posted here.
