Wentworth Miller And the Gay Rumor Flare Up
It looks like Wentworth Miller is in for another round of rumors speculating that he is gay. Remember all those pictures of Went and Luke MacFarlane (from Brothers & Sisters) walking down the street together last August?
At the time Wentworth swore that he was heterosexual, saying “No, I’m not gay. I know these rumors are out there…I’m cool with the fact that they exist, I mean this is about fantasy.” But Luke is no longer denying the rumors. In a recent interview he admitted to being gay. That said, he has not linked himself to Wentworth at all.
But the rumors have already started swirling. Perhaps if Wentworth were in any relationship with a female it would help dispel the nonsense!

in my opinion, it is invading his privacy, but it would help if one was to see him with a woman…
there is nothing wrong in being homosexual. if there is something wrong with that, then there should be something wrong with being hetrosexual..

I really doubt that Went is a gay, but if it is really so what is the difference. He is an amazing, charming man and a fantastic actor. He has the right to have the life of his own and the relationship which suits him. I could only wish him good luck in finding somebody who would deserve him (in case he has not find her/may be him yet))

Wentworth is biracial, so he must understand what it’s like to be judged based on stuff that isn’t important anyway, like race. I really don’t see him as a judgmental guy. So I’m not exactly shocking that he may have gay friends? I do. I’m straight.

if he were to have been seen with a straight guy then everyone would assume they were just friends.
Suggesting that if Wentworth is seen with a gay man means he must be gay is sort of insulting him and saying that he’s too prejudice to have gay friends [especially since he’s never admitted to being gay].

I get that the writer of this blog wants to stay ahead and keep posting new information and i respect that…
But I think that if these articles weren’t posted, then no one would even speculate about his sexuality.
Unless Wentworth offically comes out as gay, then these articles serve no purpose and shouldnt be posted really.

Oh my god…how many times does he have to say that he is concentrating on his work right now and doesn’t really have time for a girlfriend. If he says he’s not gay then I believe him. I won’t believe he’s gay until he says he is. About last summer walking with Luke, who says a guy can’t “just be friends” with another guys thats gay. It just shows that he doesn’t care about what people think and doesn’t judge anyone.

It’s funny how people comment on these pics with Luke but they pay no attention o the pics of Went and a couple of girls…
I believe him when he says he’s not gay but if Went ever “comes out of the closet”, I would be disappointed because:

Why do people care if this man is gay or straight? His fans seem to be a bit homophobic the way that they get SO UPSET whenever it is suggested that he might be gay. Why do they care? As long as he is happy. True fans should just wish for his happiness and not care either way.

Public figures lie to the public all the time, especially Hollywood stars. They have to do this in order to maintain ANY kind of privacy. Its not like he knows you personally and is lying to you just to be an asshole…he would be lying to perserve his private life, which, after all, is none of your business.

There are millions of ways a public figure can keep his private life private without lying. How do I know? That’s my job ;o) And actually Went has done it before with this whole gay issue, in case you haven’t noticed ;o) Yes, I would be upset if he lied, what is it to you anyway? This is comments area where PB fans can post their opinions freely as long as we don’t insult each other or bash anything and anyone related to the show. Let’s not make a big deal about this, especially because any gay issues are delicate topics.

And in case it wasn’t clear enough: Wentworth being gay or not doesn’t really matter to me; I will support him and the show. My opinion on all this goes beyond his sexuality and the rumors but after seeing how judgemental people can be, I won’t bother on explaining myself why ;o)
It’s all about tolerance.

You know, in my country it is common for a guy being sensitive, or single - because he hasn’t found the right one. I dunno here in America when they see a lame sensitive guy, and - single, they’ll think he’s gay :) I don’t know whether Wentworth is gay or not, but why bother ? Just enjoy the show ! ;D

FYI–Amy Bice (Spelling?) is just a friends he has known for years (he’s said so in interviews), so being seen with her hardly makes him straight. In fact, don’t gay guys ALWAYS hang around with women?? As for Luke and him, who knows? I thought we always knew Luke was gay, but if he has only just recently confirmed it, good for him! No one should have to live a life of denial. Maybe him and Went are JUST friends–afterall, being seen with a gay guy doesn’t make you gay–BUT I do find it odd that you almost NEVER see Went with ANYONE, let alone any other guys. I mean, I have NEVER seen photos o him just hanging out with Dom Purcell or any one like that…and yet here he was, running errands and going to (OH PLEASE!) an ART GALLERY with Luke Mcfarlane, an out gay guy,in plain sight of photographers? I don’t know….looks like he might have been trying to say something or send a mesage without actually saying the words “I’m gay.”
But its his business, not ours.

this is so ridiculous, what, a man can’t be friends with a gay man, a man can’t walk together with his male friend or gay friend, when did someone become gay just from being friends with a gay man or being seen with a gay man, i know wentworth doesn’t have a girlfriend right now but that doesn’t make him gay he’s just really focused on his career right now and even if he was gay i could care less, it wouldn’t change my view of him at all, as far as im concerned he would still be a hot young talented actor who happens to be one of the most gorgeous men i’ve ever laid my eyes on and with the brains to match
