Lane Garrison May Get His Own Prison Break
It seems that Lane Garrison may be getting out of jail early, as early as next January. Lane was arrested and sentenced last year for a DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
Lane is currently serving time in a minimum security prison in California, after being transferred three different times.
E! Online is reporting that, thanks to credits earned through his good behavior, Lane may only have to serve twenty months of his forty month sentence.
Lane has spent his months in jail playing basketball, reading, attempting to write, and doing a bit of soul searching. “He said he reached the darkest depths he could imagine and could barely move his body, let alone write something,” says an insider. “For the first time now, he has been able to actually see beyond and look into the future.”
Lane “remains very distraught” over his actions.
What do you think? Is 20 months enough time?

He was a man about the conviction and took his punishment like a man.
He’s the man, man.
But yeah i have no doubt he holds alot of remorse and isn’t a violent animal.
Let him loose.

Yes 20 months is enough! I mean, he’s obviously sorry and deeply regrets it! I don’t think the world is any more dangerous with him outside of bars!

Indeed, I think that knowing you took someone’s life because of drunk behavior, is an punishment that will go on his entire life…
In jail or elsewhere, it is clear he has remorse…
20 months is already a long incarceration for something he regrets

he deserves whatever any other member of the public would get.
If he really is as the report says, then sure. But not if it’s just because of who he is.

I’ve seen the news on that one. I think they should give him a break… He looked like he deeply regretted his action…
