Prison Break Season 4 Moving to Los Angeles
According to the official press release, FOX has picked up a fourth season of Prison Break. And this time they’re off to film in a new city … Los Angeles!
Shooting on the next 22 episodes of the drama is expected to begin in May in Los Angeles - and this is where most of Season 4 is set to take place.
It will interesting to see all these characters “back” in the States! And I wonder what happens in Sona and with that set!??!

Another friend of mine visited Dallas last month & got to visit the Sona set there. They found out the next day that Prison Break announced they would be filming in L.A. & were starting on tearing down the Sona set. So I would assume the set is already gone since it was announced prior that P.B. would not be back to Texas.

I will miss Sona. But hey, how many series do you know of that moves from 1 city to another with every new season? Unique…
Someday, when I visit the U.S… The first place I would go to is Los Angeles, CA. For obvious reasons ;-)

How can they not film anything in Sona anymore - T-bag (my fave) has to get out of there, not to mention Sucre…..umm hello!! Hopefully they filmed all the Sona scenes they need to show Sucre and T-bag’s dilemma. Also, did the guards discover and/or cover up the GIANT HOLE that they all came out of??

It is impossible to continue this show without the inclusion of the Sona set. It may not have been announced that they will also continue to shoot at the Sona location because that would not be considered “news”. One thing that was noticable about the season 3 “finale” was the apparent separation of certain groups: (T-Bag, Bellick & Sucre), (Susan B, Mahone, Gary M.), (Licoln, LJ & Sofia). Micheal could return to the States to track Susan down but to tell two separate stories in different regions could be tricky, especially with Micheal being alone. I have complete faith in the writers to keep an intriguing and well balanced pace between sets. But, if the Panamanian saga is placed on hold during the 4th season then it could alienate too many characters from the cast. I think the writers understand the importance of characters like Theodore Bagwell & Lincoln Burrows being in the next season and how important is it for Micheal to have another character to trade sentences with until he finds Susan.
As always there will be an introduction of some new character in the season premire that would accommodate any struggles to connect the plot. If they do not incorporate the Panamanian saga then the writers should consider a 9-Episode spinoff to wrap it up and provide some closure on the chapter. FOX should honor an idea like this because of the strike that prohibited the season from ending like the writers intended. It would work out because the Sona saga would exclude Micheal from the story line to build up anticipation for his solo journey in Season 4.
In the end I really just want to see some episodes by Fall ‘08.

is it coming back in September? Lots of people say that, but i’ve heard late spring/early summer too. If they are filming in may.. Why do we have to wait until Autumn?

But E! News said that it begins filming later this month..? Perhaps it films now, and comes on air in May.
After all, in the past they film for three months before airing the season pilot.

I think they will wait for fall. Unless they decide to do a summer season like all the cable networks do. Also I think season 2 started in August last year so maybe they will do the same thing. I also agree with Juan in that they have to have Sona, as much as I am sick of it. Perhaps they will rebuild part of it in LA. It is possible cheaper for them to film there since most of the cast lives there.

don’t get your hopes up guys.
i mean yes, Prison Break cast are already shooting season 4 this month and in total it takes six months before it airs on tv.
So we’ll probably expect it before autumn fall just around late August.
Keep your fingers crossed though peeps.

in the past we’ve had a 4 month break [s1-s2] and then a 5 month break [s2-s3].

Hi Guys, Sona deserves to be included in the forth coming season….I mean, how shall we know what the hell is happening to Sucre, T-Bag and the much hated Bellick who happens to be one of ma favourites. I like the idea of Sarah Tancred being brought back.Bravo prison Break….Bravo Uganda!

I agree about Sona…I mean, it would be stupid just to forget about T-Bag and Sucre who are still there. They can’t just leave them there… As for Sara I would love to see her back but I don’t know if that’s possible…

Of course it is possible for Sara to come back. When L.J. was asked about Sara dying, he said, “I didn’t see…but I heard.” Leaving that element of doubt about her death.

It’s been a while since i saw the finale so i must of not been aware at the time of that little slip of element.
Cheers though. I bet the writers of PB are having a hard time thinking to write scripts now that Sara has returned.
Each season just gets more complex :)

Hey i wonder why they cal it prison break because it keeps breaking my heart whenever a season ends please make sure season 4 does not leave a lot of suspense like previous one. We all love it in kenya

Mmm, I heard an interview that said there were gonna be a couple surprise deaths in the first episode. I wouldn’t be surprised if they off a few of the characters in SONA and then the other is released somehow so they don’t have to worry about SONA anymore.
