Do you remember Oscar Shales? The man who Mahone pretend that he killed . The guy who is the boss of the Company looks like Oscar Shales. I find this photo. So I think that this may be an answer to that question about Mahone who was contacted to work with the Company. What do you think about this?

I thought that the episode was one of the most action packed episodes yet. I enjoyed how there was a lot of character development in so many instances. My favorite scene was when Micheal broke the glass case in the museum. It was a decent finale but I still feel that it would have been a better finale had the show aired the remaining 9 episodes intended to air. It would have stretched into some real closure so that production on season 4 could be fresh with a clean slate. The beginnings of S1 (Micheal goes to jail), S2 (Micheal is free), S3 (Micheal goes to jail, S4 (Micheal is free) all have a pattern but I wonder how the remaining episodes would have ended the show. At the end of the first two seasons the viewers had no idea what was going to happen. This time almost all the characters have something lined up for them to do and the only speculation on thier fates is HOW they will do it. I loved the episode and PB is the best show on TV! I would love for Nick to elaborate on how many episodes the original contract called for and if there would be some sort of deal for a 9 episode return/spin-off. Or could they transfer the episodes and compile it into a 31 episode season 4. Or would season 4 not even need to follow into a 22 episode deal. Reguardless I feel like 9 more episodes of great writing will have been lost in the loop holes of the contract/strike/network and that we will never get’em back. I would love to look foward to 31 episodes as oppsed to 22. It wouldn’t be too meaty of a DVD release for Season 3 either (at least keep the size of the dvd box set the same size).
P.S. I really don’t want a spin-off. I don’t think it would work as well as everyone thinks. It is the unique characters/actors on PB that make the concept of a prison show so likable. Unless the director wants credit for making several prison shows to show his abilty to direct a movie for larger revenue (because I’m sure there are a few ideas that couldv’e been incorporated into a prison show that were never used). I just don’t want a spin-off (That’s me)

I don’t think that Pad-man is Shales… think we all saw that Mahone had someone buried in his backyard. So why should Shales still be alive? Wouldn’t make sense to me…
But I think they have just left so many things unanswered.
I think this episode was really good, season 3 was a bit… it was too much at times. It’s like you already feel what happens because it’s PB style.
I really liked Michael and how he made up this exchange plan and the he got something into Whistlers pocket.
Linc was very rational when he wanted Michael to just leave it and start a new life. Purcell said before the brothers would split, but it’s still kinda sad they won’t fight the company together.
Michael should have shot Gretchen, really… but I hope, since there are so many things still to be answered that there’s gonna be a fourth season.
Gosh, I can’t believe it that the whole Whistler Gretchen thing was just all staged… and why is Mahone in now? and for what? What are they trying to do?

I agree with Juan. ” would love for Nick to elaborate on how many episodes the original contract called for and if there would be some sort of deal for a 9 episode return/spin-off. Or could they transfer the episodes and compile it into a 31 episode season 4. Or would season 4 not even need to follow into a 22 episode deal. ”
As for my review of last night’s episode. I thought it was great. I loved watching Michael in control (like Jason Bourne).
I do not for one second believe that Mahone is “in” with The Company. He is trying to bring them down either through an aliance with Whistler or one through Michael.
I cannot decide which side Whistler is on.
I think LJ needs to go back to the States. I don’t want to see him become another Kim Bauer where he just gets into trouble season after season. I like Marshall as an actor, though.
Sucre really gained my respect last night. When they got to Panama and he was going to take off to get with Maricruz I thought he was selfish, but he stayed and helped Lincoln. Now the brothers need to return the favor. I see Bellick and Sucre teaming up against T-Bag. There cannot be a happy ending for T-Bag - he is just too ruthless.
Happy for Luis’ reunion with his family.
I still believe Sara is alive and it will probably be just a matter of time before they can strike a deal with Sarah Wayne Callies to come back for one more episode to reunite with Michael. Too many things being said: Mahone saying “if” (Susan/Gretchen) did this to Sara; LJ not seeing it, etc.
Now on with the business of waiting day by day to see if FOX does the right thing by its fans and renews Prison Break for a fourth season or at least our last 9 episodes. (crosses fingers).

i thought the episode was good, they gave us lots of questions to be answered. Like is sara alive, who is jason, and what will happen to sucre in sona and will sucre even get out of sona. They episode was very intense and michael is so funny and well as lj, when he was laughing because michael used a place with metal detectors. The episode was good but i didnt like how at teh end michael just drove away, i also didnt like how sucre was put into sona. Sucre should have just found a nromal job so he could support maricruz and the baby she is having. i also enjoyed the part when lj gave the flower sara had to him…it was so cute. I also wish the maricruz would return and that micahel, linc , and lj can all be happy.

Last night’s episode was AMAZING!!! I have to agree with Chris…I can’t help but think that Sara is still alive…what if she was part of the company??? That would be gut wrenching, but not totally out of reach for this show!!!
I was just starting to like Mahone. (just a wee little bit) I should have known better.
T-Bag is quite the scum bag. I can’t help but think that things can’t be good for Sucre with T-Bag in a “leadership” role in Sona.
Whistler is quite the puzzler. I can’t quite figure him out. Just what is in that dang bird book? And who is that guy in the file Michael found in the brief case?
Have to say I saw the whole Sofia/Lincoln thing coming. No surprise there.
Also….I LOVE to see Gretchen/Susan B. squirm and be out of control……I hate her!!!

I really wasn’t disappointed at all, except maybe for how they left Sona with T-bag basically in control. Otherwise, I thought it wrapped up very nicely for a season finale. I mean, it brought everything to some stopping point, but yet it left enough lines there to certainly pick up and take off fast and hard on when/if it comes back. I was very pleased, actually. I must say though, I was SHOCKED when Whistler walked into that bar. I mean…SHOCKED! I just never in a million years made that connection….NEVER!
This way you are left with the fact that Michael still has purpose to be out there hunting down the killer of the woman he loved. Lincoln hopefully (you think) has found someone that can offer him what this man truly needs….family and some roots to keep him out of trouble. But I will almost guarantee you that he’ll end up chasing Michael down and helping him next season. We’ve learned that Whistler really is a bad guy for the Company (which took us a full season of 13 eps to figure out), and I’m sure that he’ll try next season to convince Sophia of what a good guy he is. I bet there will be a play between Whistler and Burrows. And we even were given that glimpse that Mahone has a future and didn’t get killed off (whew!). All together, I think they did a nice job of tidying up things but still leaving the door open to pick up and run with when season four comes around. And even if it doesn’t, it’s still a nice stopping place for all components. I was very satsified and a little more than simply impressed by the end results. They were right about the twists and turns that nobody expected. I sure didn’t.
I would like to add that I think this is the BEST show on TV! And I think that all involved in this show do a phenomenal job, especially all the actors (double points for Fichtner) and the writers (double points for the writers too).

I loved last night’s episode! I know this is going to sound shallow, but Wentworth looked great, the whole cast, including Wentworth and Dominic! The only one I didn’t like was Danay Garcia. I wanted Michael to kill Susan/Gretchen. I was like, “Kill that bitch!” I love Jodi Lyn O’ Keefe’s acting, but I love to hate Gretchen. I don’t know what is up with Whistler and Mahone and The Company, but they’re involved somehow. I thought the Michael/Lincolin hug was really sweet, and the music at the end was bittersweet as well. Eventually, Michael will kill Gretchen, and I agree with Wentworth, that we will have more seasons. One more thing, I loved it when Michael said to Gretchen, “Be alone” at the beginning of this episode. I give this episode 4 3/4 stars, mainly because Sucre was tortured by the prison guards.

i think that mahone twist explains some things that happen early in the series like in the 4th episode where mahone told michael that he would put a piece a metal in that spot between his eyes if he thought about leaving him behind and in episode 9 when whistler said i won’t leave without.
Personally i thought that mahone would help Michael and Lincoln take down the company but well, what a twist
i think that the jason leif didn’t have the full effect it would have had they didn’t take molly leif out.
i thought that there was suppose to be a surprise
cameo there was no suprise cameo but that was ok
i like that sucre told michael and lincoln he was ok because we all know lincoln and michael would probably get caught trying to save him

mahone joined forces to HELP linc and michael…he is going to pay them back for their help. so there will be a time when all looks hopeless the he will step in and save the day. will linc and michael forgive him? that will be one of the gut wrenching issues the show will throw on us. what does it take to forgive someone who killed your dad?

How far can a good man go and still call himself a good man? This is one of the fundamental questions underlying Michael Scofield’s actions in the Prison Break series. Everything he has done wrong - all the times he has used and manipulated people, bent the rules and downright broken them - has been in the name of family and love.
As a season finale, The Art of The Deal, neatly wraps up some of the existing arcs and expertly creates new storylines to pursue in a subsequent season. Whether there’s going to be one or not, the episode gave us all the nail-biting, cliff-hanging tension we could have asked for. For every question it answered, it spawned at least two more, leaving fans wanting more.
But it also brought Michael’s continued moral struggle sharply back into focus. When he aims the gun at Gretchen’s back and hesitates, I had to ask myself - can he do it? Has he been corrupted enough to be able to kill his enemy in cold blood, from behind? It’s one thing setting up T-Bag, Lechero and Bellick to be caught while escaping. He can always argue that he didn’t intend for them to be shot in the process. But killing Gretchen requires him sink to a new level of darkness within himself. And as we saw, he’s not quite there yet. And there’s a chance he would have left it at that, and not continued his vendetta, if LJ hadn’t given him the origami rose that triggered the flashback to Sara, once again steeling his resolve to revenge her death.
Of course I look forward to season four to see how Sucre fares in Sona under T-Bag’s populist rule, and exactly what underhand business Gretchen and Whistler have that makes Mahone a useful ally. But mostly, I am eager to see where Michael’s personal journey takes him. There are some things a man has to do on his own, as neatly suggested by the final shots of Michael driving down a deserted Panamanian beach road with Lincoln staying behind to attempt to build a new family with LJ and Sofia. Will there be happiness, or merely self-destruction at the end of that road? Time will tell.

I am not sure if you would consider what I write as a review, since it is really a comment/question, but I figured no harm in participating.

Although I do enjoy the show and would like to continue seeing the shows presence on television, the possible issue that might come up is that the storyline of escaping from Prison has been reached beyond its limit. Even though the show is title “Prison Break,” it might not be necessary to reference an actual prison. It can be a metaphoric representation of a “prison,” for example a release from the containment of the Company. (Of course this might even ruin the show since the show’s origin is based on an actual breakout from an actual prison).
What makes this episode particularly interesting and different is that it is slightly moving away from the original storyline of breaking out of a prison and the slight separation of the brothers’ bondage. From what I can understand, Michael Scofield from Season One and Two wanted to break his brother free from the jail due to the belief of Lincoln Burrow’s innocence and the need to be a family (excluding the knowledge of the company for now). In this episode we see Micheal’s passion for those he loves beyond extreme measures. Micheal had an opportunity to be a family with L.J., his nephew, and Lincoln, but he was willing to sacrifice that to pursue Susan B. Anthony due to the decapitation of Sara Tancredi, the love of Micheal, whom he fell in love with in Season One. If this episode storyline continues as such for future episodes or seasons, it will bring a possible new direction to Prison Break that has nothing to do with breaking out an actual prison. So this episode can be a new approach or stepping stone to Prison Break’s storyline, as long as the fans and Fox are willing to accept it.
My only complain about the episode is this:
How is it possible that the security guard of the Art Museum, who was shotting at Susan B. Anthony, did not see Micheal holding a gun out in the open? Micheal even paused when he heard the shots and took his time to hide his gun. One would have thought the guard or someone would have seen the gun, maybe even the guy running in the back ground maybe 5 to 10 feet away from Micheal. Thats the only flaw I have noticed about the episode, but from a story telling point of view it showed us that Micheal was willing to sacrifice himself, even getting shot by the guards, for Sara.

Ok there goes my opinion of the show, that leads into my opinion of the episode. Even if you don’t agree with me, hopefully you understand what I am trying to say. Thanks for reading!

The finally of season 3 of prison break was the most anticipated episode ever, how in godsname would they make sure that the fans wouldn’t be left with a feeling that i can only describe as ‘what… that was it?’
The show started with a lot of action right from the start continueing with the pursuit of whistler by micheal and lincon, it really gets you on the edge of your seat because you hope that the plan of micheal and lincon works.
The show had some really nice twists and turns that I couldn’t predict, but all in all they did seem to be the perfect choice for how the story would go on, seeing as how smart they had made the character of micheal schofield, he is still allways one step ahead of everybody else.
To be completly honest the show had some flaws in it, like the scene where micheal is holding a gun out in the open and nobody seems to notice, even though I didn’t mind that much and was screaming at the TV ‘Shoot her micheal, shoot!’
The last episode of prison break was a good ending, it leaves a lot of room for a 4th season, which in my opinion that cant dismiss, we just have to know how this ends, micheal is eager for revenge, mahone teamed up with whistler and susan, t-bag is running sona, and sucre is stuck there while the love of his live is still save in the states.
So many unawnsered questions, so many ways the story can go, if the will not be a season 4 that continues with this story line I would consider this a very bad episode, I mean to call it a finale, you cant leave fans with this much questions and suspense and call it the end of it all. If there wíll be a season 4 then this was the best ending they could ever make because this is certainly the type of ending that keeps the fans wanting more and more of prison break.
Only time will tell what will happen, but at the moment - with no news if there will be a season 4 - this episode really left me with the feeling of
‘WHAT!? was this it??’

I thought the episode was totally well directed and thought out! well done writers & director!!
I don’t think sara is alive, would be nice for michael if she was, but wouldn’t you think linc would have noticed if the head was a fake??!!
I think whistler is one of the top dogs of the company! Thats the impression i got at the end of the episode. can’t wait to find out whats gonna happen next. Fingers crossed there’s gonna be more!
Oh & i hope Michael catches up with Gretchin & gives her a good torturing like she deserves!! nasty, evil women!!!!

to be honest : i think the 3 last episodes of PB were the best of season 3.
this one had rythm, and was really really well shot.
i loved the first scene : cars pursuit, the director did a great job.
the interaction between Michael and Gretchen was really good ( love the way that michael did not let her talk and kept focused )
the “luis escape” was too predictible.
i did not get why Mahone would go with the company and not his family but that’s ok because i love him.
i was really desapointed that kellerman was not there (he’s my fav) probrably they write him off when private practice got renewed.
so who Ausiello was talking about ?
and my heart got broken when the brothers went apart again…
but love the last scene with everyone, specially michael thinking revenge and driving away …
i did not mention tbag, belllick and sucre because i did not like Sona since episode 1 so i hope they get transfered in a texas prison and michael break them out
but please do not throw back michael or linc in another prison it will be claustrophobic to the viewers too.
let them go after the company…
please we need a season 4 :)

I thought the episode was OK. It just didnt seem like a season finale though.
I hope it gets a 4th season :)
So what if the ratings have been lower than other seasons. The sceduale was very messed up, never knowing whether it would be shown or not due to the Writer’s strike.
I think its worth getting another season.

Awww i can’t beleive that is the finale there should have been 22 episodes like usual but oh well this episode ended well.
Bless Lincoln and Sofia. He would need another woman after Veronica anywayz.
Michael is as hot as ever.
And well Whistler is another story, he’s just 2 confusing 2 understand.
Mahone is a bastard and Susan is a bitch
Overall i can’t wait for Season 4 xxxxxxxxx

Loved this episode considering that they had to
close off early due to the writers strike. There are alot of questions/loose ends to tie up should the writers want do so.
I thought it was a nice touch by writer/directors
to show Sara in the flashback re the paper flower Michael gave her.It shows that they have heart and that their are professionals. It was such
an effective way of doing it.
Looking forward to season 4.

It was an amazing end to an amazing series. I hope Michael catches up with gretchin and cuts her head off. also i really want sara not to be dead so that miacheal can finially be happy but i dont think that, that will happen :( ..
Linc and Sophia Should definatly get together. I felt like crying when the gards where touchering sucre i just felt so sorry for him! I hope he gets out some how. And i hope that tbag stays in sona and looses his ( leadership ) to sucree :) ..

Michael is soooo f***ing smart. He knows all of the company’s moves against him. When he sets up the confirmation that everyone is alive, He knew that Gretchen would have something up her sleeve, like a sniper. Sofia was bound to get hurt eventually, she also left Whistler for Linc, I hope they end up together. Finally, the moment where Michael points the gun at Gretchen, part of me wanted him to kill her, but I think she needs to be framed or set up by him and thrown into prison. In the end, Susan B. is a flippin’ Psychopath!!!
