Recap
The Escape Begins
Lechero is out of the hole first. Then T-Bag, Bellick follow and the three start running. Michael keeps Whistler, Mahone and McGrady behind and says “trust me.” The generator kicks on and the guards see Lechero, T-Bag and Bellick. Lechero makes a run for it as the guards yell to stop. They shoot him and he falls. T-Bag and Bellick step backwards and put their arms up. Michael tells the rest of the gang that they got caught. The sirens begin to sound.
The guards get T-Bag and Bellick on their knees. And then to their feet. They usher them inside. T-Bag still hopes that Michael can “fix this mess.” Lechero is led into the truck.
Mahone says “what’s your plan Michael?” Michael replies, “this is the plan.”
Traitors
Michael tells them that they are not going anywhere and that it’s almost time.
Lincoln calls Sucre just as the guard walks in. Lincoln starts yelling into the phone , asking Sucre where he is, they are counting on him to be there - if he’s not there they are dead. Sucre ignores the phone, but asks the guard if the prisoners escaped. He says that they got caught and one of them got shot pretty bad.
Lincoln’s phone rings again. It’s McGrady’s dad. Lincoln asks if he is where he needs to be. He is at the truck and Lincoln left the keys in the wheel well.
Bellick and T-Bag are asked how they got out there. Bellick is put in a choke-hold. He says that it was under Lechero’s room. The guards drag them off so they can be shown. Bellick leads them down into the tunnel. The door is locked. Michael continues to check the external courtyard. “Let’s go,” he says as the guards shoot the door. The remaining guards are out in the courtyard as Michael, Whistler, McGrady, and Mahone sneak out just as the guards arrive. McGrady accidentally drops his watch. The four slide under and around cars.
One of the guards hits Bellick with his gun. Bellick rats out on the remaining escapees. More guards begin their count in the internal courtyard and they are four short. Finally out in the courtyard they realize that the fence is cut and the four made it out.
On the Run
Sunup has arrived and the four are on the run with the Sona guards close behind. McGrady certainly is an eye-sore in his bright red shirt!!
Lincoln’s in trouble, he was easily described by the bus driver - who says that he was American and over 6 feet tall.
Whistler trips and hurts his ankle. He says to leave him behind, but Michael knows that isn’t an option. Lincoln comes driving up. Michael asks if they have what they need and Lincoln says yes. “Always picking up the strays,” Lincoln says!
They run to the beach and start digging up what Lincoln buried. Whistler starts saying that once the Company has him that they will not return LJ - they’ll just kill them all and Whistler doesn’t want Sofia caught in the crossfire. “Just let me go,” he says, “and I’ll turn myself in once I know LJ is safe.”
Out For a Swim
Inside the cooler are four scuba tanks. Oops, not enough! Susan B. calls Lincoln, who says that they have Whistler. “You happy?” Lincoln asks.
Whistler starts to freak out. He can’t find his book. He left it in Sona. Michael says that he thought he figured out the coordinates but Whistler says he didn’t memorize them.
They put their phones in a plastic bag. Mahone pulls out a picture of his son and asks if Lincoln will add it to the bag. “Screw you Mahone,” Lincoln says.
McGrady starts shaking. “I don’t swim so good,” he says. Michael tells him that they can share a tank and McGrady can hold onto him. The five of them go running off into the ocean as the guards follow their trail. The guards scan the horizon for boats but don’t see anything. In the meantime we watch them swim. McGrady is holding on for dear life!!
Bellick gets continually hit as they ask for Scofield. Poor Bellick…
The authorities begin setting up check points. Sucre tells the guards that he wants to go - that he is getting nervous about the guns and everything. They tell him to hold tight.
After swimming forever they come up for air at a buoy. “Where is he?” Lincoln yells as they look around. “Where is he?” He’s looking for Sucre with the boat!!
McGrady’s father drives to the marina. “Boat 312, why is it still here?” They say that someone reserved it, but it was never picked out.
On the beach the guards find shoes in the cooler. “General, I think we need to call the coast guard.”
McGrady starts sinking underwater, only to be pulled up by Michael. “My legs are starting to cramp,” he says.
Sucre is sweating it out in the guard’s room. He asks to go but they still need to finish processing the paperwork.
Susan B. starts to get antsy. She gets in her car and drives off.
Out on the buoy the guys see a boat. Lincoln begins yelling, “Sucre.” It’s not though, it’s McGrady’s dad. Thank goodness he knows how to drive a boat! “Papa,” McGrady yells out.
Whistler tells Michael that he appreciates everything he has done. “You’re welcome,” Michael says.
The boat drives off… Sappy music plays as Linc and Michael look off into the distance.
Bellick proceeds to get bloodier and bloodier. T-Bag is dragged to the courtyard, thrown in the mud, where he finds the bird book.
The boys change into dry clothes. McGrady parts ways after thanking Michael.
Susan B. calls Lincoln. He says that they are in downtown Panama but she knows that he is not. In fact, she’s got a car right behind him, and then in front of him. They try to box the car in. They realize that Whistler’s stopwatch is a homing device and Michael tosses it out the window.
The Chase
A classic car scene follows … car tries to run other car off the road. Lots of damage. One car runs into ditch. Other car drives through gate onto dirt road with a new car in the chase.
Linc stops the truck and everyone jumps out. They run into a cabin and Lincoln begins shooting a gun. Of course the Company retaliates with their own high-powered weapons.
T-Bag insults the guards. Not the best way to start off.
The colonel walks through and tells the guards to get Sucre out of there.
Susan B pulls out her own gun. She then walks forward and opens the cabin door. It’s a tape-recording of gunshots. The guys took off out the back door!
Whistler continues to try to get Michael to let him go. “People might die because of this,” he says.
Sucre gets his belongings and starts to leave - as T-Bag is about to get his genitalia electrocuted. T-Bag turns to the window and yells that Sucre knows everything … thus prolonging Sucre’s escape!
Lincoln gets another phone call from Susan B. He tells her that she’s not calling the shots anymore. He tells her where to meet them, with LJ, and hangs up the phone.
Meanwhile McGrady and his dad stumble upon a roadblock. McGrady tells him to turn around. “I can’t go back to Sona papa, I can’t.”
Sucre tells the colonel that he knows nothing about Michael Scofield, yet they uncover papers from the Fox River escape.
Michael says to Lincoln, “you did great.” Mahone says good-bye. Lincoln stops him and says that he isn’t just going to let him walk out of there, not after what he did to their dad. He says that he would have shot him on the beach, but it would have slowed them down. “Turn around,” he says. Michael tells Lincoln to think about what he is doing. During all this commotion Whistler takes off.
Mahone says that he was forced to choose between their family or his. Lincoln cocks the trigger just as a window breaks. Mahone bolts as the brothers chase Whistler. Whistler climbs into a truck and drives off.
“What are we going to do now?” Michael asks.

It was freaking awesome!!! Still very skeptical about Whistler. Mahone is kinda growing on me. I used to despise him but now I can’t help but feel sorry for the guy. Sure loved when Linc turned the tables on Gretchen/Susan. I enjoyed seeing her squirm!

My favorite part… the car chase scene, when their SUV and one of the Company’s cars were trying to run each other off the road, I was thinking in my head, “Do the police move, where they nudge the other car’s rear bumper out and put them in a tailspin!”, and then they did it! Yay, real tactics!

Why the hell Mahone did not thank Michael to get him out of Sona?! He could be more grateful!!!
Whistler,.. he is not who he seems…
