Maybe No Molly?

There has been some recent Molly clarification, thanks to the_man.

He says that Molly was originally set to be introduced as a way to lead into the spin-off (Prison Break: Cherry Hill). The producers/writers wanted a connection between the two shows. This was during Season 2.

Then came Sarah Wayne Callies leaving the show and they considered keeping Molly around… In her scripts, Michael doesn’t want to help her initially so she tracks down Lincoln.

For now there is no Molly… and if the spin-off is scrapped, she may not be introduced at all.

    Nikki, you read the_man’s posting wrong. He only said that initially, Michael didn’t want to talk to Molly…but he never said that she would not be Michael’s love interest in the future.

    Besides, Matt Olmstead himself said it in the TV Guide interview.

    I know this wasn’t a conscience decision on the part of the producers, but thank God this happened. We don’t need Molly, we need Sara back!! ; )

    I agree Ashley, good riddance to Molly. WE NEED SARA BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Come on writers! You’ve had alot of time off to think about this. Bringing Sara back would be awesome. Especially that Mike thinks she’s dead all this time. Their reunion would make my day and surely save the show. Season 4 will look very promising!!!!!!

    I so agree. I think right now for most, I know not all, bringing back Sara would at least rekindle some of the what PB once was. A story that at the end would have a somewhat happy ending.

    There was so much hype around Molly that no actress could possibly live up to the expectations, so I won’t be surprised when she (and the spin-off) don’t end up happening… that spin-off is a horrible idea anyhow.

    It’s not up to the writers to bring back Sara either - remember. It’s Fox and the actress’s decision. I’m sure the writers would be all too happy to bring her back if they had that power.

    Sara is dead. Her head was sawed off. I wish she would come back but it’s not realistically possible. :(

    I agree it will just get silly and stupid if they bring Sara back she oviousli dead as much as i dont like that i think it wud be worse for her to come back

    I don’t like Molly to be the love interest of Michael. Although I would love to have Sara back, it would be creepy and ridiculous to see her alive after her head was cut off. Let Scofield mourn over his loss and not find other girl. How about Lincoln finding romance for a change.

    the prison break without sara is not the same.I´m a fan of prison break, and I think that she is necessary in the show!! the romance beetween them is diferent and they need each outher. Sara needs to revenge her fathers dead. She sacrifices everthing for michael even his father so she must catch the killers, and for that she needs michael help. This is the only way for the show make any sense!!

    Why should the writers bring Sara back… SHE’S DEAD!

    I was a MiSa fan too… I still am, but don’t you think it would blow the whole reality of the show if they simply ‘brought her back.’ I don’t want Michael to have a new love, because the writers made out she was the love of his life, and I like that face… but come on guys… she’s gone ye :(
