EXT. LINCOLN’s HOTEL – Day 10

Molly walks toward Linc’s hotel – head down, digging into her purse for the address – we see the GUN, still inside it. One of the passing pedestrians BUMPS into her and it’s –

LINCOLN (O.S.)
Sorry

He keeps going – but Molly looks up. Something familiar about that head. She calls out:

MOLLY
Lincoln Burrows?

Linc turns. Measures up this stranger.

MOLLY (CONT’D)
My name is Molly. I – I saw your brother yesterday. At Sona.

It dawns on him who this woman is.

LINCOLN
The one from Scottsdale.

MOLLY
Yes. He – he told you about me?

LINCOLN
A little.

MOLLY
I was hoping you could give me some information about the company. Whatever you know. Names. Locations. Who they are – what they do.

LINCOLN
Look, if you think you can get back at these people by exposing them, power of the press and all that –

MOLLY
– Honestly I was thinking about taking things…farther than that.

Molly darkens. And Linc recognizes the pain.

MOLLY (CONT’D)
They killed my husband. And my daughter. A six-year-old girl and they –

LINCOLN
– An eye for an eye – you think that’s gonna bring you peace?

MOLLY
The eyes – probably not. But by the time I go to work on the rest of them.. the, yeah. I think I could find some.

Boom. Not what Linc was expecting. Suddenly a whole new side of this woman appears.

LINCOLN
You’re looking to pick a fight you can’t win, lady.

MOLLY
Not alone. But maybe with help.

LINCOLN
My brother and I’ve been down that road. We’re done. We just want to get on with our lives.

MOLLY
You really think that’s possible – knowing what you know.

LINCOLN
What we know isn’t enough to change anything.

MOLLY
What if you knew more. I – I have things. My husband, he was trying to find something on the Company when he was murdered. And I think something in here…is what he found.

She opens her file. Linc flips through notes, photos, and lands on something familiar on a buckslip. STAMPEDE TIRES.

QUICK FLASHBACK to STAMPEDED written in Whistler’s Bird Book

RESUME SCENE

LINCOLN
Stampede. What’s Stampede Tire?

MOLLY
It’s where he worked.

Interesting info that’s interrupted by Linc’s RINGING cell.

LINCOLN
(answers)
Yeah.

Linc notes it. Then hangs up, turns back to Molly.

MOLLY
Everything alright?

LINCOLN
Look, I’ve got somewhere to go. Do you have a number where I can –

She’s already two steps ahead – hands it over.

LINCOLN (CONT’D)
But if I were you – I’d keep my mouth shut about what you know. And don’t show it to anybody.
(then)
Seriously – you don’t know what these people are capable of.

MOLLY
If I didn’t – I wouldn’t be here.

Linc nods. Tough fucking girl. As he takes off —
