Prison Break - No More Sarah Wayne Callies
Wahhhhh… it appears that Sarah Wayne Callies is NOT returning after all. Not that I can blame her… having kids is a big deal!

Shocking, right? Especially given the way the actress’ manager has been insisting for weeks that her client would be back. (The words “pants on fire” come to mind.)
We already knew that Callies was MIA from the opening credits in the first two episodes and that, for the one scene in which Dr. Sara appeared, a body double was used. But nonetheless, trusting souls that we are, we believed the mom-to-be still had a job. Well, no more.

If this is true(and it looks like it!)i am done with prison break!!misa was the major reason i watched it.there r many shows with 2 brothers running around,going into trouble and then f.. around.but rarely such a complex,strong and against all odds love.Thank u FOX!! U ASH….S DID IT AGAIN…

I’m dissapointed with this news as well. Michael and Sara had great chemistry on and off-screen. It would be hard to find a new female love interest for Michael who could fill in Sara’s shoes but I’m willing to give it a shot. Where do I sign up for auditions???

I found a comment on http://sarahwaynecallies.org that says the information has not been confirmed by Fox or SWC’s manager. So, I guess there is still hope. I really hope that she stays!! The show wouldn’t be the same without her.

I don’t think she will leave the show. I mean she said herself, in an interview, she would like to stay and she would be able to balance her work and family-life. The wrters also said she’s way too important for the show! So why would she all of a sudden decide to leave?

This is what Sarah said herself in an interview: Your character’s become increasingly central to the story in season two. Will that continue in season three or will motherhood mean working less?
I certainly won’t be returning until I’ve had the baby and gotten that under control (well, I don’t think one ever gets that under control, but gotten a little bit of a handle on it!). I have every faith that I’ll be able to balance my work life and my family life and I certainly haven’t heard any indication from the writers that they think “well that’s it, she’s had a kid now, she’s useless to us”.
My hope is that the days of a woman having a baby in Hollywood and it being a crisis are over. God knows, everyone’s doing it now - I feel like a follower!
So I think the most reliable is that what she says herself, not what others say!

I mean they said she was so important, she couldn’t be missed, than why do they do such thing!?
Now, we know it’s not her choice, but the writers’ choice!
She said herself in an interview whe decided at the end of season 2 she wasn’t thinking at all about leaving the show. She’s still in shock of it herself!

Well, I just heard the news Sara is dead! So she isn’t coming back at all. And I also read the interview in which they say that it was indeed her choice not coming back to the show!
I mean look at this (here she says it was not her choice at all to leave the show and that’s she’s shocked about it, …)

I’ll just say this. I am sorry to let down the viewers. I have loved the support Sara Tancredi got from them. and though she was a victim of her own destiny, I liked how she made decisions by herself. But the way things ended up couldn’t have been foreseen. Again, I was deceived by the decision.

They told me ‘It’s too bad. I loved working with you and good luck, we hope we can work together again.’
And Wentworth [Miller]?
We were so sad that we wouldn’t work together anymore. Wentworth is a gentleman. He’s gracious and full of class. And i learned a lot from him. But in a series like “Prison Break,” apart from Wentworth, anyone can go. When I took the role of Sara, I thought it’d be for only a year. Afterwards, I was so happy to get a second year.
If they call you back, will you accept?
Of course! I don’t have another role right now. Right now, I need to find work.
How will Sara make her exit from the series?
I don’t know. I’m not part of the team anymore and don’t have any influence on the storyline.
How is being a mom to baby Keala?
It’s a rich experience and unpredictable. You can’t plan anything. (Keala was born in July 2007.)
What projects do you currently have today?
I’ll rest another month in Vancouver (Canada). Afterwards, I’ll go to California for a little bit. After that, I’d like to do theater in New York. I honed my skills on the stage and I miss it.
Isn’t it a bit hypocrit to say such things like I’m shocked, I never wanted to leave this show, … when it was her own choice?!
She even turned down the writers’ decision to fly over to her place and shoot it there or to talk about it over the phone.
I mean I really don’t get it!
I’m so sad about it!

I can’t believe Sara is dead? I refuse to believe it until the Season 3 finale! There is no Prison Break without the Sara-Michael relationship! I just WON’T believe it! Sorry!! :(

It’s not Sarah Wayne Callies and it’s not the directors/producers of Prison Break who’s responsible for this unbelievably messed up situation. It’s the “wonderful” people at Fox who are responsible. They shot down all the ideas that everyone had about keeping Sarah. They messed up the show for me forever. I have NEVER been so disappointed in a show in my LIFE. FOX always seem to mess up every good show that they come across. I’ll keep watching PB but I really don’t care what happens anymore. :( I’m sad now…

I just feel sad that I will never see sara and michael together again. I’m really disappointed. I’ve been waiting for season 3 to come out but here’s the bad news. I thought it was the best tv show ever . I was wrong. I’m not gonna watch it anymore. Bye bye PB.

Oh come on ,Sara on Prison Break is such a great actor………… when i watched that part where they found her head in a box, i started crying, how come the good people die in Prison Break and not the bad people? My family watches prison break and they said that is was sad that Sara died and Veronica Donathan, Links anorney………… well congladulations and have fun with Baby time!

Well, I’ve heard from different sourses that sara isn’t dead. That they just made it to look like she was, so everyone was gonna think that she was, and then she’d be back for later episodes. It was so that she could spend time with her baby and still be on the show, and to make the shows’ storyline more exiting. I hope that’s true, because if she weren’t coming back prison break would feel wierd to watch. Though it’d still be the best show ever=)
