According to the Ausiello Report, Mahone’s going to do something very out of character in the premiere.

He’s going to save Michael’s life.

AND in Episode 2, Linc turns to an old friend to help break Michael out of SONA.

Alex Saving Michael’s life? Sure, he’d do that. In fact, let’s be realistic here, if he really wanted Michael dead, he’d have done that a long time ago (just count the numerous times Alex had him and was reluctant to pull the trigger)…naw, I’d say he likes and admires the “clever con”…
