Dominic Purcell Spills on Prison Break Season 3!
Raoul at MSN TV Blog had a chat with Dominic Purcell and he had quite a bit to say on the topic of Prison Break Season 3!! Spoilers after the jump:
Here’s what Dominic had to say:
“Season three is the best season so far. We’re back to what we do best, which is the whole prison thing. It’s a lawless prison, which if you’ve seen “Midnight Express” is like this crazed environment. There’s no structure within the prison walls.
You have Panamanian drug lords. You have Colombian drug lords. Mass murderers. Rapists. There are no roles. You have Scofield having to deal with all of that. And then you have Mahone and he’s losing his mind because he doesn’t have any pills. And you have Bellick, who’s wearing a diaper in the first six episodes. And then you’ve got T-Bag, doing his thing to survive.
It makes (Fox River) look like a five-star resort. It’s just really cool. It’s very intense, dramatic. It’s highly entertaining. Again, I think it’s our best season.
This season Lincoln’s on the outside, obviously. I’m not trying to break my brother out in an elaborate way like he did me. I’m trying to do it through legitimate means. Whilst trying to break him out and trying to get him out legitimately, Lincoln’s being blackmailed by a new character called Susan B., who has ties to the Company… She says to him that your brother needs to get out of prison within a week and get another guy out that we need out. If Michael doesn’t break this other guy out, Sara and L.J. are going to die. At this point, she has L.J. Lincoln can’t tell Michael this, because Michael’ll freak out. As the season progresses, there’s some kind of massive wedge between the two brothers. So there’s a bit of hostility and animosity. I think Lincoln and Michael are going to go separate ways. Of course, they’ll come back — maybe.”
Dominic also said, “Lincoln’s going to get laid twice.” He then semi-backed off on the statement to say that he’d be trying. Apparently, both the new female characters, Susan B. Anthony and a character played by Danay Garcia, may get a taste of some Linc lovin’.

Who cares if Lincoln gets laid? He’s so boring, I can’t be bothered watching his storyline.
But all the stuff in Prison sounds awesome - Mahone going nuts will be great!

Heya, does any1 no if Kellerman will be bck in season 3? And if Michael, T.Bag, Bellick and Mahone will team up? Is Season 3 guna b the end of prison break? All this stuff in Prison break sounds realy good and i cant wait! Wt is the date it will be airing again? Plz will sum1 reply if u have eny answers. Thnx xxx

I don’t know guys. I’m not thinking I’m going to like this season. I mean the whole point of the show was for mike to break linc out and the bond between the brothers and now their going to hate each other. Idk maybe it will be better than I think. I hope…

like you Bekah, I’d hate for the bros to have a wedge between them, but it should be interesting to see!!!!! The bros have a strong bond, so I’m sure, they’ll work it out. That’s the whole point of the show, the brotherly love story. I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad I’m not alone. If they keep the brothers fighting I say we go down and show the writers a thing or two about a good story! lol! I seriously hope Linc doesn’t lay Sara. That would suck so bad! He KNOWS how much Mike loves her! Grrrr It’s killing me waiting to see!!

In some way I was expecting Prison Break should have stopped at the point where Michael finally met Sarah in Panama, and the five-million bag were still with them. But that didn’t happen. The story progresses to create new plots for the succeeding season. Reading the season 3 spoiler make me impatient to see what’s next. Just can’t wait!

I believe Agent kellerman wouldn’t be back in season 3 because he is dead. Remember on the final episode of season 2 where the transport vehicle had a breakdown and had to stop? He said, “The highest level is to smile when they shot you”. At first I kinda thought that kellerman advised the guard to smile when a party of unknown men broke in to liberate kellerman. When the vehicle door finally opened, kellerman asked “what took you so long?”, and the scene cut to the armed men shot several times into the vehicle. It was actually kellerman who got shot, not the guard. Kellerman was aware that “The Company” would silence him real quick and he had taken this way for his redemption.

i have an idea for pb season 4. What if after episode 13 whistler has one last talk with michael with whistler saying remember what i told you. Then L.J, Linc, and Michael go to like Columbia or something, but Linc is all shocked cause he thought he wanted to take down the company. So Linc gets all mad at Michael and then he explains that he has a plan. How could he have a plan you might ask. Well, Linc shakes his head and walks away and Michael lifts up his sleeve and looks at yet another tattoo. Michael smiles and then has a flashback. The flashback is about a scene they did not show when they were still in sona. Whistler says, this is probably where they will bring me, meet me there. Michael nodds his head and then goes to another cell and says to the man in the cell, are you ready to do this. Then the camera shifts down to a tattoo needle on the table in the cell. Thats just an idea for the first episode of season 4. A little out there, but give it some thought.

Well, I hope everyone saw tonights finally. I’m pleased with where the show went but here is the problem I have. As good as the show is, sometimes I think a show reaches a point that it’s time to look back at and say, “Nice Work.” and I honestly think Prison Break has gotten there. The shows creator even admitted he didn’t think the show could go beyond 2 or 3 seasons. He even left the show after this season. But when a network has a hit it has to milk it for all it’s worth and then the shows stories start to go down hill. From the looks of things it looks like Prison Break might be headed that way. For starters, how can they keep Linc in the story at this point, he has his son back, Sofia is obviosly going to stay with him, Micheal and him have said goodbye,and he’s not a wanted man. They can’t kill him either because if they did that would make the first two seasons all for nothing. So basically there is nothing more to do with Lincoln. T-Bag, Beleck, and Sucre have come full circle, they started in prison (Even though Belleck was a guard) and that’s where they ended up. So what are we left with for stories, Who is Whistler, why is he so important, and Micheal is out for revenge for the death of his girlfriend. You know, the show may have reinvented itself each season, but it’s always been about a love story between two brothers. That’s what made the show for me. Now it looks like it’s going into the direction of a lone man out for revenge. Which we’ve seen again and again. I’m just not sure I’ll stay as interested in that as I did the Brothers story.
