In an interview with TV Insider Wade Williams says that “I thought the first season was going to be it for me, that once they escaped from prison, I was done. Wentworth (Miller, who plays Michael) actually was the one who came up with the idea that I would chase them.”
Glad that Wentworth stepped in!
