Episode 02.19 Review
Thank goodness they started with C-Note and the guards taking him down from that damn rope! I don’t think I could have handled waiting til next week to find out what happened to him. In the medical ward he begs to be able to contact his family so he can warn them that they are in danger. Instead he attempts to call Mahone. Agent Wheeler grabs the phone and C-Note tells him to tell Mahone that he’ll do what he asked, but not to hurt his family. Wheeler doesn’t look too thrilled.
Michael and Linc leave the hotel room just prior to Mahone wandering the hallway. He breaks into the room and Sara quickly hides under the bed. Unfortunately she climbs back out WAY too soon and Mahone pulls a gun on her. What an idiot! Mahone starts in with his usual interviewing tactics of yelling and Sara denies ever seeing the boys.
T-Bag does his best to avoid Bellick at the airport, searching out his bag of cash and getting in a fight with the bag handler.
Lincoln approaches an old friend and asks for a favor. “You owe me,” he says. He gives him a paper and says he needs the list now.
Kellerman prepares to shoot the president as she steps out of the transport and walks the crowd. Just as he goes to shoot he sees Michael in the crowd handing the president a piece of paper. “I have the tape.” The secret service leads Michael away. And guess who walks in the door. Our favorite agent Kim! You know he’s dying to pay back Michael for running him over.
Kim tells Michael that the only way he’s going to live through the next hour he better tell him where his brother is. Michael says he’s in a safe place, somewhere where Kim will never find him. Kim shrugs off his jacket. All the better to avoid blood stains, right?
Sucre sees a news clip with T-Bag front and center. Sucre doesn’t see the money bag in T-Bag’s possession and wonders if it’s still at the airport.
Sara starts to talk to Mahone about his medication problem. She seems to know exactly what he’s going through.
Kim pulls his gun on Michael just as the president walks in the room and says she needs to talk to Michael. Alone. Kim tries to stay but she’s having none of it. About time someone puts him in his place! She keeps asking Michael where the tape is. Michael says there are 20 copies in 20 locations. He says she can hear it over the phone or on the news… it’s up to her.
Bellick shows up at Sucre’s place of residence with a pair of handcuffs. Bummer! As he attempts to lead Sucre out the door Sucre tells him he knows where $5 million is. He tells Bellick that he’ll take him to T-Bag.
Caroline calls Linc and he plays the tape. It’s a conversation between Caroline and Terrance… quite an incestual conversation. Blech. Caroline hangs up the phone and asks Michael if his death was quick. She goes on and on, saying that she’s not in control of what’s going on. Michael tells her that he wants to walk away from the building and that he wants a presidential pardon for both he and Linc. Today. And he wants her to deliver the news on live television. She asks how she can be sure that he won’t release the tape and he says that she’ll never be sure. Then he tells her to make the choice. She goes out and has him released, much to Kim’s dismay.
Wheeler meets with C-Note, saying that he can help him. C-Note doesn’t believe him, saying that Mahone will come after his family.
Lincoln’s friend comes back with three tickets and beer. Wow, something that went right for a change.
Michael’s not looking so hot as he waits for Sara at their rendezvous point. Unfortunately she’s still caught up with Mahone. Her cell phone starts ringing and Mahone tells her to pick it up. She grabs his gun and tells him to stay put as she runs out the door. Too bad Mahone still has the bullet. He calls his agent and tells her to follow Sara… that she’ll lead them right to Michael.
Kim talks to his silent partner, who throws down a folder with the name Sona on it. Yet more plot twists!
Michael calls Sara and tells her to come get him and then he heads over to meet Linc.
A tense president goes to step in front of the TV and Kim steps forward. He whispers in her ear that he knows her secrets as well and she needs to decide who she fears more - Michael or them. Everyone tunes into the live newscast where she announces that she has cancer and is stepping down as president. Linc doesn’t take it very well and Michael says there’s only one thing they can do.
Disappear forever.

FANTASTIC epi last nite - another PB great! Left me with 8 words though: I Really Want To Hurt Evil Agent Kim!! This man is beyond annoyance, it’s like behind every silver lining, there’s Evil Agent Kim! ARGH!!! Poor Michael almost got his gorgeous face re-arranged by EAK last night too. And Sweet Caroline indeed, Sweet Perv Caroline and her brother - puke! That was a really creepy twist to all this conspiracy. What’s going to happen now? Can’t wait for the next episode, in 2 weeks right?

the only way they could have made the episode better was to end the episode with the president starting the press conference and then cutting out and leaving us in suspense until next week..
