Prison Break Buff

Episode 02.16 Review

by Nikki on February 5th, 2007

Aw, what a sweet hug between Michael and Sara! I kept expecting her to FREAK out when she saw Kellerman though. I guess she had the boys around to rough him up a little. I liked that Kellerman didn’t give into the president so quickly. Finally standing up for himself. And of course he knew what Sara’s key was too. Is he lying to get them to Chicago… where oh so conveniently the president happens to be speaking?

T-Bag is crazy. That first scene of the two of them bed… oh that poor woman! And she is just trying to come up with every scenario to get him out of her house. Alex tried his best to get their guest into the garage to tell her what was going on.

Looks like Bellick is getting a free ride. Okay, maybe not so free… he does have to actually FIND the convicts right? But still, he is loving life right now.

I was proud of Sara trying to strangle Kellerman. But I have to admit, she and Michael talking soft voices all the time is starting to get on my nerves!

C-Note gets involved in a robbery. And then he narrates the script. Oh boy. Of course he’s going to get screwed. I thought for sure the robber would turn on him and opt for the reward money. But instead the cops show up. And since he did a good deed the others let him go.

“The first thing they tell you on the job is never to fall in love with an inmate.” That’s a sweet line to tell Michael exactly how she feels! And then the kissing scene everyone’s been waiting for. Only to be interrupted by, what? A police barricade? How they heck did they find them? But that chase scene was brilliant! Who would have thought of using the employees as bait? Well, who besides Kellerman and Michael anyway…

I was just starting to wonder why every conversation with Kellerman and the president start with “Paul, where are you?” when he finally caught on to the voiceover!

It looks like our comic relief in Haywire is gone. And with Mahone’s encouragement. But we did not need that gratuitous last scene.

Your thoughts?

Another good episode as ever, although i am slightly dissapointed about the demise of Haywire, yet another of the peripheral escapees meets their doom with a large part of their story un-told.

it seems the writers want to tighten the story slightly “reign it in” if you will, so we are focussed on the key characters of michael and lincoln.

T - bags story has started to baffle i think its becoming obvious he will meet his doom before the season is out.

I was initially un-amused with Haywire’s character but with what happened to him last night, it made me feel really sad for him. All that poor crazy kid wanted to do was to get him and Larry (Harry? the dog) off to Holland. Also, the song that was played in the end was awesome. Reminded me of the scene from PB Season 1 when Michael was being transported to a different pennetentiary and he thought he had failed Linc. Anyway, the highly anticipated kiss scene was kind of anti-climatic. I guess you can’t expect much since they’re in a women’s bathroom of a moving train…heehee. Overall, it was a good episode and I LOVED how Evil Agent Kim had failed yet once again! I hope his evil-scheming days are numbered.

Haywire’s scene was sooo sad. I didn’t think it would hurt so much. Great acting on the actor’s part. Mahone wanted him to jump, so that way he didn’t have to kill him with his own hand. At first I thought the kiss was just ok, but after watching it several times, it got even hotter. This is the beginning of their relationship, so we couldn’t expect more than this. Love how it started nice and sweet and how they looked at each other and then it got pretty hot and heavy. Great episode!

I did feel very bad for Haywire. I was a little surprised that Mahone didn’t at least yell out or pretend to try to stop him, to at least make it look like he wasn’t up there verbally pushing him to jump!
