William Fichtner is Staying Put
In his house that is…
According to LA Daily News: William Fichtner says he’s loving being part of the hit Fox drama’s troupe this season, but he’s not about to move again. “For the first time in my life we officially moved to L.A., I sell the house in New York, then I get a job in Texas. Great!” says Fichtner, who plays the FBI agent, Alexander Mahone, who’s in hot pursuit of the eight escaped convicts. On the horn from Dallas, where “Prison Break” is shooting now, he says, “Most of this season is being shot in Texas. There’s some talk about finishing in Santa Fe, but I don’t know. And I have no idea if after this season I’ll be with the show.”
The former “Invasion” regular, who’s starred in such big-screen projects as “Crash,” “Black Hawk Down” and “Armageddon,” is married with two boys, 14 and 4. And he makes it clear, family is definitely his priority.
“I want to be a dad before I’m an actor. What I do on `Prison Break’ is my work and I love it, but when I come home, the bigger things in my life are my wife, Kymmy and my boys. Thank God for Burbank having nonstop flights to Dallas, because if I get two or three days off, I’ll come home, and it’s just two hours and 40 minutes.” He adds, “Like I keep saying, `It’s always good problems.”‘
