Prison Break Buff

Interview with Michael Lambert

by Nikki on August 9th, 2006

I had the pleasure of interviewing Michael Lambert, who will be playing an FBI agent on Prison Break during Season 2

Which episode(s) will you be on?

So far, I am on episodes #3, #4, and I am in the filming of # 5 this Friday, August 11th. Hopefully I will be on each episode from here on.

What was involved with the audition process?

My resume speaks for itself. I did not have to audition. I have been in several studio films, i.e., “Man of the House”, “Sin City”, “The Ringer”, “Invincible”, and TV, “A House Divided”, “Inspector Mom”, etc.

Did you enjoy working with the cast and crew?

What a great bunch to work with. Everyone makes you feel at ease. There is plenty of clowning around and joking between takes.

Who was your favorite actor to work with?

My favorite has to be William Fitchner. He has a lot of experience as an actor, and he made a point of it to shake everyone’s hand at the beginnining of episode #3, (FBI Command Center, which is his office in Chicago)

Did/Do you watch the show?

Yes—–and now, the first season is available on DVD

Do you think you will get to film any future episodes?

Hopefully. Whenever they are filming in the FBI Command Center, I should be there.

Anything else you would like to share?!?

Yes, The directors have decided NOT to go back to Los Angeles to shoot the series next year. They like the unique locations that Texas has to offer. They don’t want to keep following “24″ or “Alias” into the same worn out sets and studios in Hollywood. Besides that, next season will show all of the escapees heading for Mexico, and there are many areas in Texas that looks like Mexico.
